| Loves | March 2019 Favorites

March was still a very cold and rainy month, so I treated my skin like it was winter. You can read about my hydrating and nourishing evening routine here. I did rediscover a lot of products this month, which I am extremely proud about! On the flip side, I may have also purchased quite a few new goodies... The month has really flown by and I am excited for the warmer weather ahead! I'm sure I won't be when it become extremely hot but for now, I'm excited for more sunny days. I hope you enjoy my March favorites!

SKINCARE

Derma E Nourishing Rose Cleansing Oil - I decided to pull out this cleansing oil because I remembered really loving it before and no surprises here, it's in my favorites for a reason... well, many reasons. One reason is that for an cleansing oil, it's super lightweight. It's not one of those viscous ultra-rich oils. It smells like real roses and it gently breaks down all my makeup in one go! What's not to love about this quick and easy makeup-removing cleanser?

Derma E Hydrating Mist - What can I say? I'm all for face mists! They wake my skin up and bring so much life back into my skin in the mornings. That boost of hydration really helps all my other skincare products absorb so much faster and more efficiently. I love that this mist is packed with hyaluronic acid because not only does it maintain my skin's hydration levels, it helps plump my skin too!

Elemis Daily Defense Shield SPF 30 - This is my favorite daily sunscreen! It is pretty much undetectable and invisible once you blend it into your skin. It doesn't leave a white cast at all and it is super lightweight! It actually feel like a serum it is so light. It instantly absorbs into the skin and protects it from UV and blue light from electronic devices! It is an essential in my daily routine and if you want to learn more about it, read my review here.

Paula's Choice Omega + Complex Moisturizer - This rich yet lightweight moisturizer will give your skin a beautiful glow and it improves your radiance and complexion over time! I have been using this all month morning and night, it has really made my skin look so fresh and healthy! I love the texture of this moisturizer because it's kind of balmy and it makes you makeup just glide on. Plus it adds glow to your base without any shimmer. I have already seen a tremendous improvement in my skin's radiance since I started using this moisturizer, so this will probably stay a staple in my routine.

Laneige Lip Sleeping Mask - I have actually been using this since the beginning of the year but I kept forgetting to include it in my favorites! This product is ALWAYS on my lips before bed and it is heavenly! My lips are always super hydrated, smooth, and plump in the mornings! Plus, I love the soft vanilla scent and the fact that you need to use the tiniest amount to get some seriously kissable lips!

MAKEUP

Tatcha Dewy Skin Cream - This latest addition to the Tatcha range is a beautiful moisturizing primer! Which is why it's placed in the makeup category of this favorites versus the skincare category. I mean you really don't see it's true beauty until you've applied makeup over this moisturizer. It really helps smooth and blur the skin's texture, plus it adds the most beautiful healthy glow to your makeup. It really gives you this sexy surreal skin effect, that I have only experienced from very expensive luxury foundations! I'm talking $200 foundations... yep.. you need this! Check out my full review here.

Farsali Liquid Glass - This illuminating and priming serum has a very unique formula and texture. It gives your skin a beautiful glossy sheen and smooths out my skin. You can also mix this with your foundations and it creates a beautiful glowing effect. Unfortunately, at the moment this serum is limited edition but hopefully they will be making it permanent because it's such a gem!

Armani Nuda Crema Moisturizing Tint - This ultra luxurious tinted moisturizer offers a beautiful medium coverage and some glow. It's best applied with fingers, so it's great for quick morning routines and it last all day. Because it is a tinted moisturizer, it is extremely nourishing and hydrating, which is so essential for my dry skin. I swear a review is coming soon, I've just been busy and with new releases coming out, I forget about other reviews.

La Prairie Caviar Essence-In-Foundation - This foundation made a pretty big emergence in my routine this month. This cushion has a beautiful full coverage and glowing finish that is so addicting! It's so quick and easy to apply and so great for on-the-go application, I have been using it a tone this month. This foundation last all day on me and it looks so flawless! This is one of my all time favorite foundations, check out my full review here.

Hourglass Veil Retouching Fluid- This convenient little tube is so travel-friendly! I love throwing it my handbag for quick touch ups after work for those days I have plans afterwards with friends. The formula is super light and fluid-like. It fuses into my existing makeup and never looks cakey or heavy but it has a touch more coverage where I need it. I really think this is a dreamy and essential product for anyone's collection. Read my full review here for more details on how I like to use this product.

Tom Ford Shade and Illuminate Cheeks - I rediscovered my love for this glowing cheek duo. The formula is very emollient and glossy. I love the fresh look it gives my skin and its so easy to blend. Since my skin is so dry, I've been loving using this glossy cheek duo to give my cheeks a super radiant glow! You can see swatches of these duos here in my review.

Louboutin Matte Nude Eye Color - I love using these matte liquid shadows because they're so quick and easy to use and they last forever without a primer! I just literally dot a bit of this on my lid and blend it out with a brush. My morning makeup is complete within seconds and I can just run out the door. I love the rich pigment of these liquid shadows as well. You can find my full review of these here.

Tom Ford Lip Lacquer Luxe - I have been loving using the vinyl finish ones as a cheek color! They're insanely pigmented, so a tiny but goes a long way. They last on the cheeks ALL DAY LONG! They're the ultimate cheek color! Plus, you can match your lip and cheek color together, which is so lovely. I haven't been able to put down the nude shade in Softcore because it literally goes with any look I do. Check out all the swatches in my review here.

NARS Fever Dream Palettes - These mini travel palettes caught my eye because they're so cute and the colors are so wearable! I love the shades offered in these two palettes for spring and summer. Plus, since I plan on doing some traveling this spring and summer, these would be perfect to bring along. The quality of the products in these palettes is just exceptional and I have been enjoying them a lot. Read my review for more thoughts and swatches.

NARS Exposed Palette - This dreamy spring cheek palette contains some seriously beautiful and wearable cheek colors for spring and summer! Not to mention the packaging is just darling. I love the inclusion of more neutral shades in this palette and there are some pops of pink that offer a fresh glow. I love the finish and texture of these blushes. The apply so smoothly and they offer radiance without any heavy shimmer. The shades also work beautifully on the eyes for a simple and fresh coordinating look. Check out this beauty in my review here.

Pat McGrath MTHRSHP Subliminal Platinum Bronze Palette - I don't know why I stopped using this palette because the shades and formula is stunning! I picked up this palette again for the shimmering kaki shade and it rekindled my love for the entire palette. These shadows are so creamy and pigmented. They blend out so easily and they always look good. This palette also has the perfect neutral shades that everyone will love. Check out the swatches here.

Givenchy Le Rouge Liquide - It was really nice to rediscover these lip products again. These creamy liquid lipsticks feel like a melted lipstick on the lips but they have the lasting power of a liquid lipstick. The applicator takes some getting used to but the formula is exceptional. It really coats the lips in a creamy gel-like texture and the color really hugs the lips. It makes your lips feel very smooth and plush. I love the lasting power of the these lipsticks and I am obsessed with the shade Nude Tweed, which is a beautiful brown beige shade with a hint of pink. I have a ton of swatches of these lip colors in my review here.

OTHER

Bali Body Face Tan Water - This is seriously the easiest to apply and best face self tanner out there! You use this gradual tanner like you would a toner and just swipe a bit on with a cotton pad. Over time, it develops into a beautiful and super natural looking tan! No streaks, no transfer, and no mess! I love that this product doesn't have that fake tan smell, it does smell like fake tan a little bit when it develops but the scent is really subtle. I just love how easy it is to build this color and it looks so good! Check out my full review here for all the details on this amazing formula!

FRAGRANCE

Tom Ford Eau De Soleil Blanc - Since I was feel the warmer weather vibes, I was reaching for this more citrus and lighter version of the original coconut and floral fragrance. This fragrance is just delightfully bright, fresh, and so summery. It just pairs perfectly with sunny days and lighter fabrics! You can read all about the notes and my thoughts on this fragrance here.

  1. I need to try some PML makeup asap. Everyone raves about her eyeshadows and I bet that's for a reason. I also "need" that other shade of Shade and Illuminate. It's always used by my favorite makeup artist and I love his looks!
