July came and went super fast with sunny days and even warmer weather! Summer for me is all about keeping the complexion really light and glowing. It's very skincare focused to get my skin in amazing condition to wear little to no base. I have discovered some amazing new skincare products that I have happily welcomed into my skincare routine and have really changed the texture and look of my skin. 

SKINCARE

Sheet Masks - Still sheet masking strong this month and my skin has never looked better! I've been keeping up with sheet masking at least once to twice a week and my skin has never looked so glowing and fresh before. There's a super soft plush texture to my skin and it just looks radiant all the time! This has really helped me feel confident wearing very little base products this month. I am still experimenting with which brands I like best, I open to more recommendations. As soon as I figure out my faves, I will being doing a post, as per request from a good friend and blog reader. 

Malie Organics Botany Beauty Hydrosol Facial Tonic - This refreshing and luxurious face mist has become an essential in my routine! The mist is very refreshing and smells beautiful. Made of floral extracts infused into water, this tonic is ultra-luxurious and makes my skin feel and look amazing! I love using it before my serum and moisturizer. It adds a boost of hydration and helps my skincare products absorb more efficiently. Check out my full review here. 

Malie Organics Botany Beauty Facial Scrub - This scrub is packed full of antioxidants and vitamins and will make your skin feel so soft and glowing! The best part is all the ingredients are all natural and organic! The scrub contains cranberry seeds as it's primary exfoliating ingredient and it is just the perfect amount of abrasiveness to get deep into pores without irritating or damaging the skin. It is also packed with natural astringents and soothing ingredients to help moisturize the skin but also prevent acne. Read all about this facial scrub here. 

Malie Organics Botany Beauty Illuminating Serum - I'm so obsessed with all natural face oil, I want a giant drum of it in my house! It's that good! It is made of only 10 ingredients and without any chemicals or preservatives. It makes my skin GLOW and feel so nourished! I use this at night and my skin is always so fresh and hydrated in the morning. The results are truly amazing and i can't be without this product! Check out my full review here. 

Elemis Dynamic Resurfacing Facial Pads - These resurfacing pads have changed my skin so dramatically! I have been using them once a week and they make my skin so soft, smooth, and glowing! These have helped reduce my milia around my eyes significantly! Seriously, these are incredible and you need them in your life! Check out my review here.  

Elemis Dynamic Resurfacing Face Wash - If you want instantly softer, smoother, and glowier skin, look no further than this gentle exfoliating face wash! This face wash uses a triple enzyme formula to remove dead skin cells, renew , and refresh the skin. It really makes your skin glow after one use! Your skin will feel so soft too! Elemis Pro-Collagen Oxygenating Night Cream - This cream has a beautiful rich texture but doesn'te feel heavy or greasy. Even with the hotter summer nights, it is a lovely nourishing night cream. It really helps my skin feel very nourished and hydrated in the morning. It really doe shelp prevent and plump out any existing fine lines.

Dr. Roebuck's Hydrating Serum - So I was hesitant to mention this serum because the brand has gone through a huge re-branding in the past year with new names, products, and some new formulations. I'm not sure if this formulation is the same as their current serum, True Blue Hydrating Serum. However, I have long used and trusted the brand so I expect their current hydrating serum to just as exceptional. I have been using this serum for more than a year and I am actually coming down to the end of my bottle. It is a thicker, more viscous serum consistency and it offers a lot of hydration and makes my skin look plump. I love the way it makes my skin feel fresh and soft. 

Dr. Roebuck's Boost and Tighten Serum - Again, this anti-aging serum is now called Perky Collagen Boosting Serum. I'm not sure if the formulation is the same but like the hydrating serum this tightening serum really delivers some beautiful results. My skin feels very soft, plump, and tighter after I have used this. It is also a thicker consistency, almost gel-like and it really plumps my skin out and refreshes my complexion. I actually finished this serum this month and I have one more bottle in my stock but if I didn't I would buy this new re-branded version.

COOLA Liplux SPF 30 Balm - The most often forgotten part of the body when it comes to sun protection are your lips! No one thinks about that your lips should be protected just as much as the rest of your face. This lip balm is so smoothing and hydrating but also contains SPF 30 to protect your lips from burning and losing moisture! This is such a huge summer essential for me and it has been living in my bag!

CeraVe Ultra-Light Moisturizing Lotion SPF 30 - I've been using this regularly for my daytime moisturizer because it is so light and quickly absorbs into the skin! There were some massive heat waves this month and while I needed moisturizer and sun protection, I couldn't stand layering on much because I was already sweating most mornings. This moisturizer is so lightweight and sinks into the skin quickly, leaving very little residue on the surface of this, It's perfect for makeup prep, which is why it made it on my Top 5 list here.

CeraVe PM Facial Moisturizing Lotion Ultra Lightweight - Same in the dreadfully hot evenings, I didn't even want to apply any kind of skincare but I still needed to care and treat my skin in the evenings. I opted for this wonderfully light yet nourishing moisturizer that really treated my skin! It looked very fresh and radiant int he mornings, providing moisturize all night long but not making me feel heavy and greasy, causing me to sweat.

MAKEUP 
La Prairie Essence-In-Foundation SPF 25 - I am OBSESSED with this foundation! There has only been one other foundation that has made my skin look this good, this radiant, and surreal, the Cle de Peau The Foundation! I have to say, this one is on par with that foundation. This lightweight cushion actually packs a lot of pigment but still looks like real skin. It really covers of discolorations and imperfections. It gives such a stunning radiance and glow to the skin that mimics the healthiest looking skin you have ever seen! I can't say enough great things about this foundation, just read my review here to learn more.

Tom Ford Iris Bronze Eye Color Quad - This Nordstrom Exclusive Anniversary palette blew up big time because of its wearable shades and finishes! It sold out very quickly but it actually turns out this quad is comprised of the Tom Ford Private Shadows singles (full review here)! This quad rekindled my love for the single shadows, as they got lost in my massive collection. This quad has a great texture and overall finish, you can read my review and check out comparison swatches here. If you can't get your hands on this palette, you can always get the single shades. However, you will be paying much more per ounce. 

Hourglass Veil Retouching Fluid - I really don't use this product for its intended purpose, I love using it as a lightweight concealer. Let me stress again that this is not a concealer, it is a retouching fluid. However, I love it as a lightweight concealer because it blends into the skin so beautifully and naturally! Mamonde Brightening Cover Watery Foundation SPF 50 - I love a good cushion foundation for the summertime because they feel completely weightless on the skin and they have this refreshing texture. They are so light and blend into the skin seamlessly but this one also provides an insane amount of coverage! Most days, I prefer a light and sheer finish so I use my damp beauty sponge but if I wanted more coverage the included sponge will give me full coverage! The finish is still incredibly natural and looks like radiant and healthy skin! Check out my full review here. 

MAKE Beauty Soft Focus Foundation - This foundation truly give you a soft focused effect and it's beyond stunning! I have never been able to achieve such a flawless base with such a light finish before! It has amazing coverage and it still feel very light on the skin. It really does blur imperfections and pores, making your skin just look extremely perfected! Check out my full review and the product in action here.
Dior Backstage Eyeshadow Palettes - Probably my favorite products that launched in this collection, I have been reaching for them so frequently because they are so soft and wearable! I prefer to Cool Palette because feel the formula is better and the colors are more cohesive. However, I have been using both a lot this month. The matte shadows in these palettes are really exceptional, while the shimmers are ok. Check out my full review here.

RODIN oilo lusso Luxury Lip Oil - This is one of those lip product that has just been living in my bag for touchups. It has such a soft champagne shimmer and a really lovely moisturizing texture without being too greasy or slippery. I was never a fan of lip oils until I tried this one! Louboutin Loubilaque Sequins Lip Glosses - I keep going back to these holographic glosses! I have to admit, they may be sheer but they look really pretty on the lips. I have just been grabbing them when i can't decide on a lip color and they go with all my looks! The reflect is so pretty for summer. I still stand by that they're not worth it for the price, but I do really like them. Check out my review here.
Colorescience Mineral Bronzer in Santa Fe - This brand is SO UNDERRATED! I mean seriously, they have some amazing products including this beautiful mineral bronzer! This shade Santa Fe is the perfect blend of warm and cool, it doesn't lean too warm that it looks orange and it's not too cool that it will make you look dirty. Its the Goldilocks of bronzers! The formula is super soft and pigmented. It blends like a dream on the skin and offers the perfect touch of bronze! Seriously it has become an instant favorite in my collection!

Chanel Soleil de Tan de Chanel Bronzing Base (Bronze Universal) - I have had this in my collection for AGES! It is a cult classic and probably my all time favorite Chanel product! Seriously! This cream bronzer is the perfect warm shade and it glides on effortlessly onto the skin. It blends into the skin and looks seamless and so natural! If you want a realistic glowing bronze complexion, you NEED to try this product! It comes with so much product in the container, so it is so worth the price. I have had mine for a very long time and I am almost done. You better believe that I will be picking up a new one before I finish this one up!

Charlotte Tilbury K.I.S.S.I.N.G Lipstick in American Sweetheart - This creamy lipstick is the most flattering and stunning natural peachy-nude shade. It's so hard to describe this color because it is neutral but it has this warm peachy tone to it that would flatter any skin tone. I love how it brightens and freshens up my complexion and while it is a nude shade, it doesn't wash me out. This is the perfect everyday lip color for me! 

BODY

COOLA Sport Continuous Spray SPF 50 Sunscreen in Guava Mango - I spent a weekend kayaking for my friend's birthday and this sunscreen protected me and my friends for all day long! Of course reapplication is needed but it is so easy to do with this spray and it has a super fine mist! The smell is amazing!! I got into my friend's car and he ask who smelled like Fruity Pebbles (the fruity cereal), it was me and everyone was obsessed with the fragrance! I just want to apply this everyday because it smells so good but it offered great protection and is water resistant for 40 minutes!

HAIR 

COOLA Organic Scalp & Hair Mist SPF 30 - So I had just freshened up my hair color prior to my little kayaking excursion that weekend and I always have a hard time keeping my hair color from fading in the summer time but this product really helped! This hair mist prevents color from fading, protects you hair from the heat, and keeps your scalp protected with sun protection! This product is a hair miracle for me with the summer heat and UV exposure. My hair stayed looking vibrant and fresh despite being exposed to so much sun this month! Plus it has a wonderful citrus fragrance!
