It seems like many people seem to struggle to find a daily sun protection that works for them and their skin type, which is shocking because there are so many available on the market! Of course, not every thing can be good or something that works for you. With summer in full swing, it's even harder to avoid the harsh UV rays and skin damage without lathering yourself in some sun protection.These are great daily moisturizers or hydrating sunscreens for any season but with summer here and more of my time is being spent outside, I wanted to share some of my favorites. All of my picks are very lightweight and work beautifully under makeup!

Elemis Pro-Collagen Marine Cream with SPF 30 - A little spin-off of the cult classic Marine Cream, this has the same wonderfully light and refreshing gel-cream texture with the added SPF 30! This cream absorbs into the skin rapidly and leaves a very fresh feeling. It is very hydrating but doesn't leave an emollient reside or layer on the skin. It is so amazing for makeup prep and has amazing regenerative skin benefits from the marine algae contained inside. It really helps firm, tone, and regenerate the skin cells, all while protecting from harsh UV rays!

COOLA Full Spectrum 360° Sun Silk Drops SPF 30  - This product not only protects you from UV rays but also dangerous light emitted from devices, like you cell phone and computer! It has an extremely lightweight and serum-like texture that blends into skin seamlessly and doesn't cause a white cast. It is also quite hydrating and I often find I don't need any additional moisturizer. Colorescience Sunforgettable Total Protection Face Shield SPF50 - This sunscreen is unique because it has a peachy-skin tone tint to it that helps prevent a white cast and allows it to blend into any skin tone. It is a extremely light liquid formula and blends into skin very easily. It also offers some hydration so additional moisturizer is optional. I love this higher SPF for when I am expecting a lot of sun exposure. It makes a great base for my makeup and it is made with physical sunscreen. Another one that has a great ingredients list! It is also water resistant fro up to 40 minutes, which is great for outdoor activities or really hot and sweaty days.

CeraVe Ultra-Light Moisturizing Lotion SPF 30 - This product is one of my go-to daily moisturizers, especially in the summer because it's so lightweight and hydrating. The moisturizer comes in a pump packaging making ti so easy to use and it absorbs quickly. I also love the CeraVe line for their ceramide-packed formulas that really help maintain moisture throughout the day and repair the skin. They are also fragrance free, which perfect for sensitive skin types. If you are looking for a great affordable daily moisturizer, this is an excellent one.

La Roche Posay Anthelios 50 Ultra Light Tinted Mineral Sunscreen Fluid (SPF 50) - This super lightweight tinted sunscreen blends into the skin seamlessly and doesn't feel like an extra layer on the skin. The tinted color make look intense but it sheers out and prevents the high SPF from causing a white cast. It also offers a very sheer coverage that helps neutralize redness and minimize hyper-pigmentation. Makeup glides over this formula beautifully and the high sun protection factor is great for day when you will receive a lot of sun exposure. It is a mineral sunscreen so it is a good route for those who have sensitive skin or want to avoid chemical sunscreens. It is also water resistant fro up to 40 minutes, which is great for outdoor activities or really hot and sweaty days.
