There is nothing more refreshing that a facial mist in the summer, or any time really! It's been so dangerously hot lately that while I want to hydrate and moisturize my skin, the thought of applying something emollient on my skin is unbearable! That's where facial mists come into play. There are really to schools of thought when it comes to facial mists; unnecessary or necessary . I side with the latter one because I can't imagine my routine without a facial mist! I was very kindly sent this Facial Tonic from Malie Organics. 

The Malie Organics Botany Beauty Hydrosol Facial Tonic retails for $45.00 USD and is available at Malie Organics. This luxurious facial mist is housed in a beautiful frosted glass bottle. It is vanity-eye candy! It feels and looks so luxurious sitting on your counter top or vanity. The spray nozzle I must say isn't great, it does spray a bit heavy and is not the fine mist I was expecting however, I still find the product to be exceptional. 

The Hydrosol Facial Tonic is made of 100% Jasmine and Rose Hydrosols, which are distilled flower waters that capture the beautiful essence of each flower for a aromatherapeutic experience. It really does smell absolutely amazing and so refreshing! Some of you may be turned off by the sound of the floral fragrance but it is not a fake synthetically created floral fragrance that you associate with perfumes. It is a real and very natural floral fragrance, like walking through a garden. It is a really relaxing and soothing experience every time I spray this on my face. It can also be used on your hair and body too! 

The Facial Tonic has mild astringent properties from the hydrosols, which help cleanse, tone, and reduce oil production throughout the day. Ideal for those really hot days when you can't stand to apply too much to your face. It also helps soothe irritation and redness on the skin. 

All Malie Organics products are natural and organic without any nasty parabens, sulfates, phthalates, petrochemicals, mineral oil, silicone, talc, alcohol, PEGs, and they are gluten and artificial free! So if you're concerned about the price, its because you are paying for exceptional quality! It is very rare to come across a line that is so pure, yet still provides a luxurious skincare experience. All the products in this range are so luxurious and they really treat your skin without the use of chemicals and preservatives! Even many luxury brands I have tried, sneak in  silicones and mineral oils as filler ingredients and to mimic the feeling of hydrated and smooth skin! I really appreciate Malie Organics for sticking to providing truly clean products and ingredients. 

The way I like to use this product is as a skin prep prior to applying any other product on my skin. I start with well cleansed and exfoliated skin, so my skincare products can penetrate and work efficiently. I highly recommend the Botany Beauty Cleansing Polish for prepping and exfoliating the skin. Then I spray this product all over my face and before it has time to absorb completely into my skin, I take a drop of my Botany Beauty Illuminating Serum and apply it all over. I find that the Hydrosol Facial Tonic helps the serum really sink into the skin quickly. I then finish up my routine with the Botany Beauty Illuminating Moisturizer  for a glowing and hydrated finish. 

I have used many facial mists but none of them have ever felt as luxurious as this one. This Hydrosol Facial Tonic smells like a luxurious spa treatment and it really does help with the absorption of my skincare products! It also provides the perfect boost of hydration and gives my skin a bit of glow. I can't say enough great things about this mist! The small issue I have with it is the spray nozzle however, it really isn't that bad. Honestly, this has become my new favorite facial mist and I wish it came in a bigger size because I never want to run out of it!
