Hello, spring! It's the end of March and the days are longer and warmer but March wasn't the warmest month out here California. Luckily, my skin didn't suffer too much because I was able to find some products to maintain and boost my skin's radiance. I also found an amazing affordable retinol routine that I haven't been able to stop using! It was also a month of eyeshadows, testing and playing with so many new shades and finishes, I couldn't get enough of them.
SKINCARE
CeraVe Renewing Skincare - I am not one to shop at the drugstore for my skincare but after my experience with this CeraVe Renewing Skin range, I am sold! My skin hasn't felt this soft, supple. and look so radiant after using my skincare in a long time! One of the hero products from this range is their Gel Oil, which is extremely hydrating but non-greasy and gives you the most beautiful glow! Malie Organics Botany Beauty Illuminating Moisturizer (available soon TBA) - If you have been following me either on this blog or on Instagram for a while, you will know I am a huge fan of anything illuminating and anything Malie Organics! They have such a wonderful organic line of body products and they are now offering organic skincare! This illuminating moisturizer is ultra lightweight and offers a super subtle glow. It is so great for priming the skin for makeup or even mixing into your foundations because it so light and non-greasy! I am always searching for high quality clean beauty products and these are luxurious and beautiful.
Malie Organics Botany Beauty Luxe Eye Cream (available soon TBA) - This gel-cream texture is very lightweight and hydrating. It feels very cool and helps to depuff and minimize irritation! It is also quite smoothing and the light texture makes it perfect as a primer prior to makeup. This is the only eye cream I have been using for a little over a month now and my undereyes look smooth and I don't have problem with puffiness anymore. The bottle comes with so much product but you really only need a little drop to get both eyes!
REN Ready Steady Glow Daily AHA Tonic - This daily exfoliating toner keeps my skin looking so fresh and radiant! It gently removes any dead skin cells while brightening pigmentation, leaving my skin soft and ready for absorption of product. It's fresh citrus scent is very refreshing and when combined with my Vitmain C oil, my skin is BEAMING! You can learn about this innovative new elixir here.
Sdara Vitamin C Serum - After my AHA tonic, I will double-down on the glow with this Vitamin C Serum which is amazing for brightening pigmentation and adding a tone of radiance into the skin! I use this serum in conjunction with the Sdara Dermaroller which really helps boost collagen and helps with absorption of product. Plus they are both super affordable! MAKEUP
Velvet 59 Rose Metals Palette - I ADORE this palette! The colors are so fun and beautiful! The shades may look very colorful but they can be used for a more subdued look. With certain color combinations this palette can create a very bold and edgy look! The powders are all very pigmented and can be used on the eyes or cheeks. They are very smooth and blend very easily. I have been reaching for it a lot when I want to create a bold and fun look but can still be wearable. Charlotte Tilbury Flawless Filter - This unique multi-purpose product really does create a flawless veil over your face that makes you look filtered! It sounds insane but after using this product for the past month, I don't think I can be without it. It is the perfect amount of coverage to create a natural and glowing everyday base. It can also be used as a primer, mixed in with your foundation for a glow or as a shade adjuster, and as a highlighter on top of your cheekbones! Tom Ford Shade and Illuminate Glow Stick in Sunstruck - I have really embraced makeup in stick form lately because of it's ease of use and travel friendliness. This duo has a very pigmented blush that adds a beautiful fresh flush and a champagne-bronze glossy highlighter. It perks up my skin and gives me a stunning glow in seconds, which is what I desperately need in the morning. This is the best release from the Tom Ford Summer 2018 Collection! Tom Ford Extreme Shadows - Thank you Tom Ford for busting out your comfort zone and giving us a fun and colorful collection for spring/summer 2018! These shadows have a beautiful texture, at least the foil finished do, and they are very pigmented! They glide on quite easily and stay intense pretty much all day long! Some colors have better finishes than others but overall, I think there is something for everyone in this collection! From more subdued colors, like copper and burgundy, to more vibrant shades like a hot pink and bright teal, there is a beautiful colorful range to choose from! Pat McGrath Labs MTHERSHP Subliminal Platinum Bronze Eyeshadow Palette - This palette gives the perfect 3-shadow look every time! It takes very little effort and time to create a look that looks complex but really only takes 3 shadows! The pigmentation and finishes are incredible! The shadows are rich. creamy, and pigmented. All the shades are all very neutral but they have incredible finishes, unlike anything I have used before! I highly recommend this product! Givenchy Eau de Moiselle de Givenchy Romantic - Sweet and warm, this fragrance is like a cashmere sweater enveloping you in it's luxurious warmth. It has unique notes of popcorn, mocha, and candy but with a sophisticated complexity! It's a must have for anyone who loves a sweeter scent but without the adolescent cotton-candy sweetness. You'll feel like an adult in a candy store with this fin a sexy fragrance. Check out the notes in my full review here.
CeraVe Moisturizing Cream - Not the most glamorous product but it sure is effective! This intense and rich moisturizing body cream heals my dry skin and maintains hydration for 24 hours! It doesn't have any fragrance but it does contain ceramides, which are essential to your skin's health. This is a great daily moisturizer that absorbs very quickly and doesn't leave your sticky of slippery. I love using this cream because I don't feel like a greasy mess before getting into bed. It's also super affordable and great for sensitive skin! You can also use it on your face without causing any irritation.
