| Loves | May Beauty Favorites 2021

It's a blushy kind of month, or perhaps year! It seems like EVERYONE is coming out with new blushes and I can barely keep up! I love a glow and couldn't help picking up practically every formula released this spring. So, you may be seeing more blushes next month but these are the ones that I have tested and consider real winners! Besides blush, I had another skincare-heavy month, which shouldn't be surprising because while I love makeup, skincare is always my first priority. The past month has flown by as always but I'm looking forward to another cheeky month ahead! 

1. Hourglass Vanish Blush Sticks - A satin cream blush is a pretty unique formula to find and this one is truly universally flattering. The cream formula and soft matte finish blends into the skin seamlessly and make it appear like a true flush. The finish is flatter for all skin types and allows the formula to wear really well on all skin types. I love the convenient stick format and it is so effortless to apply onto the skin. 2. Saie Dew Blush Liquid Cheek Blush - These liquid blushes are right up my alley as my everyday blush. I love a good glow and these liquid blushes offer a stunning dewy finish to the cheeks. There's still a rich and buildable pigment, which is uncommon for a dewy finish blush. These blushes offer a really healthy, juicy, fresh, and dewy finish to the complexion. 3. Hermès Rose Hermès - Silky Blush Powder - I started pulling away from powder blush in recent years because they just look so obvious on the skin. I love a glow from within and I didn't think that could be accomplished with a powder blush, until now! These powder blushes are so incredibly creamy and silky, they blend seamlessly into the skin! These beautiful blushes blend like a cream but it wears like a powder, which means it works for virtually every skint type. The only thing that I don't love about this formula is that it is strongly fragranced but other than that, I can't say a bad thing about the formula. You can read my rave review here. 

4. Bite Beauty Daycation Whipped Cream Blush - These unique whipped cream blushes just melt into the skin and leave a fresh glowing finish without any texture left on the skin! The texture of these blushes is a delight to work with and it looks so beautiful on the skin. The dried-down finish means it works well on all skin types. The only issue I have with these is the packaging, which doesn't feel practical and doesn't seem like it allows you to get all the product out of the bottle. 5. ROEN Beauty Mood 4 Ever - I love the ROEN Beauty eyeshadow formula because it is like using adult finger paints. They're just so easy to use and apply. You can use all the shades to create a cohesive look or pair these eyeshadows with other formulas to create a different look. I just love sweeping these glossy shades over my lids for a quick and polished everyday look. The shades in this particular palette are designed to be universally flattering shades and they really are! This really is a palette of shades that I want to wear all time and always look flattering! 6. Dr. Zenovia Peptide + Ceramide Repairing Moisturizer - This moisturizer was a staple in my evening skincare routine for the past month and a half. This moisturizer is a rich balmy gel texture and it really locks in hydration overnight. This moisturizer feels almost like a sleeping mask because when you wake up, your skin looks so renewed and refreshed! My skin is significantly smoother, softer, plumper, and more elastic in the mornings. There's a real noticeable glow to my skin in the mornings as well! This is a truly beautiful and transformative moisturizer. It contains bakuchiol, which a very popular natural and gentle retinol alternative. This moisturizer really does offer the same benefits as using a retinol moisturizer! 

7. AveSeena HoneyActive Beauty Mask - This mask smells so delicious, it is so hard to try not to taste it! This mask has recently had a little makeover from the last time I reviewed it but it's still an incredible formula! It is a thick and sticky texture but it feels very comfortable on the skin and it only takes 10 minutes for this mask to TRANSFORM your skin! I'm not even kidding! You will immediately notice the difference in the texture of your skin. It will feel significantly softer and smoother! My face feels baby-soft after using this mask and completely refreshed. This mask gives you an incredible glow and radiance that I adore! You can read my review for the original formula here, the formula hasn't changed that much from the original, if anything, I may love it even more now! 

8. AveSeena Recontour Eye Concentrate - Goodbye, under-eye darkness, puffiness, and wrinkles! This really lightweight and super concentrated eye treatment has a texture in between a serum and a cream. It leans more toward the serum side, which I love because I can't use any heavy eye creams because I am so milia-prone. This serum feels both refreshing and hydrating but not at all greasy or heavy. I've noticed such a huge difference in my fine lines, darkness, and puffiness under my eyes. I love that I don't need to use much at all! I'm extremely picky with my eye treatments and creams. This one truly is phenomenal and one that will continue to use for a long time! 

9. AveSeena Green Caviar Facial Oil Elixir - THIS. OIL. SMELLS. AMAZING! It has natural notes of Gardenia, Damask Roses, Tiare, and Blue Tansy. It really is the most intoxicating and soothing fragrance! While the fragrance is there when you're applying it, it is not a strong or overwhelming fragrance, it is still soft and subtle. I really love facial oils but I became picky with them a couple years ago when I realized the oil I was using on my skin was causing my dry skin to actually clog! So, I stopped using oils for a while but I knew this formula was going to be different and it really is! It is a nourishing and rich oil but it never clogs my skin. The oil is so beautifully crafted! After ONE USE, my skin felt baby soft, smooth, and plump! My skin feels completely renewed and refreshed overnight! 

10. Clean Reserve Acqua Neroli - Moving into spring, I love a fresh and clean fragrance. This is one of my favorites because it smells almost identical to Tom Ford Neroli Portofino but with a significantly lower price tag so, I don't feel as bad about being generous with this fragrance. This fragrance has strong citrus notes with the soft notes of neroli and amber that just make for an intoxicating unisex fragrance. It feels so fresh and beachy for the warmer weather.
