| Lists | Sephora 2021 VIB Sale Recommendations 

It's that time of the year again! The Sephora VIB sale! Time to stock up on your beauty essentials, treats for yourself, and on gifts for others! Use the CODE: YAYHOLIDAY 

Here are some products that I am getting myself, some that I'm considering, and other that I love! I have some solid recommendation here of products I have been using non-stop this year. Happy holidays and happy shopping to you all! 

MAKEUP

Merit The Holiday Face Essentials - I absolutely adore both the Flush Balm and Lip Oil formulas so, I am definitely picking this set up! I don't have the shades in this set and they have been on my wishlist for a long time. The colors are so flattering and universal. Plus, it comes with a mini mascara. Merit Flush Balm - Speaking of the Merit Flush Balm formula, I will be completing my collection by getting the last missing shade. I honestly can't recommend these blushes enough! They have a beautiful glossy texture and finish on the skin. The buildable translucent color makes these blushes so easy to wear and use. This blush looks so natural on the skin and makes the skin look so healthy! This is honestly one of my favorite all-time cream formulas! 

Merit Shade Slick Tinted Lip Oil - A big favorite in the lip department! These slick tinted oils have a lovely texture and feels cushiony and slick on the lips. They don't feel oily or greasy but they just leave the lips with a very nourishing feeling. The colors are sheer and wearable. They just feel so comfortable and amazing on the lips. This is a product that I just throw in my bag and reapply regularly for some tint and hydration. I have reviewed them in my full brand review. 

Sephora Favorites Sparkly Clean Makeup Set - I bought this set way before the sale because it's such a great deal! I knew I really wanted the Merit Flush Balm and the Tower 28 Tinted Lip Balm, which are the two full-sized products in this set. These two products alone make this kit worthwhile but I have also been very curious about the other products in the set. I have been using all the products in this set so much since I bought it. There are so many great gems in this set for a beauty lover to try out. I highly recommend this set! It's a great value with great products! 

Fenty Beauty Resting Peach Face Cream Blush & Mini Gloss Bomb Cream Duo - I love the cream blush and gloss bomb formula from Fenty. Plus, I can't resist a peachy shade! This mini duo doesn't make me feel too guilty about getting another lip color and cream blush. The price is very right too for such a cute little kit! 

Tower 28 Beauty Sunny Days SPF 30 Tinted Sunscreen Foundation - This unique skin tint with sun protection has piqued my interest. I love a skincare-makeup hybrid. The shade range looks really lovely and the natural finish sounds really great. I'm trying not to purchase too many base products these days so, I may or may not be jumping on this. 

Rare Beauty Perfect Strokes Universal Volumizing Mascara - I received a mini version of this mascara a few months ago and I really like it! This mascara is reasonably priced, it actually holds a curl, which almost never happens for me! The mascara is great everyday mascara because it gives a nice volume, separation, and definition to the lashes. It gives the glasses a very fluttery look and it wears really well with almost no smudging! 

Saie Sun Melt Natural Cream Bronzer - This is easily my most used bronzer this year! This cream bronzer delivers a beautiful glowing finish to the skin. The bronzer has a really nice buildable pigment and always looks really natural on the complexion. It has a variety of shades, there should be a shade for everyone. This bronzer will make your skin look so healthy and fresh. I have a full review of this formula here. 

Saie Slip Tint Dewy Tinted Moisturizer SPF 35 Sunscreen - This is one of the few base products I have been using regularly. This skin tint has a beautiful buildable coverage and dewy finish that makes the skin look so healthy! It's an effortless formula that I reach for often because it always makes my skin looks good. This product has a great shade range and it is really a worthwhile purchase. You can read my full review here. 

Saie Dew Blush Liquid Cheek Blush - These glossy liquid blushes are so unique and offer such a healthy look to the skin! I love the shades that are available and I hope they will continue to add more shades. This is definitely a blush formula I would like to get more of. These are pigmented and the dewy finish it leaves on the skin is just so stunning. I am a huge fan of this formula! You can read more about it in my review. 

Huda Beauty GloWish Soft Radiance Bronzing Powder - This is my favorite powder bronzer from this year! I know, I haven't reviewed it yet but it really is a beautiful ultra-smooth and creamy powder bronzer! It goes on like a creamy powder, which allows the powder to seamlessly blend into the skin and makes it look like a natural bronze glow. The shade range is also very beautiful. I find that it is a nice neutral tone with a touch of warmth, which means it will never look orange on your skin. I haven't been using a lot of powders this year but I really love this one. 

Huda Beauty GloWish Cheeky Vegan Blush Powder - I am very tempted to pick up the blushes in this creamy powder formula. I have a feeling these blushes will be very much like the bronzer, which I love. There are four very pretty and universally flattering shades in the range. Again, I haven't been gravitating towards powders lately but I think this formula is pretty phenomenal. 

Pat McGrath Labs Skin Fetish: Divine Powder Blush - Again, I don't often reach for powder formulas but this one is amazing! I absolutely love these powder blushes because they're so creamy and blend into the skin effortlessly! They really look soft, luminous, and glowing. They're also very pigmented so, a little goes a very long way. I was recently asked by a friend for a recommendation for a powder blush and I told her to get these. They come in many shades from wearable to vibrant so, there's something for everyone! I would get more but I'm already overwhelmed with my blush collection. You can read my review for these here. 

Westman Atelier Eye Pods - These powdery cream eyeshadow have such a unique bouncy texture. They're very smooth and silky. They glide onto the eyes like a dream! I love using this formula day to day because it's just so effortless and easy to achieve a really quick and polished eye look! They currently come in three colorways and I have reviewed each of them - Les Nuits Review, Les Jours Review, Rendez Vous Review. 

Charlotte Tilbury Super Nudes Easy Eyeshadow Palette - This has become my everyday eyeshadow palette because it literally contains all the shades I like to use every day! Even if I use other eyeshadows, I still reach for this one to use as an accompanying eyeshadow palette to complete my look. This palette just contains great basic shades with a very nice buildable formula. I just found myself constantly reaching for this palette this year and I am even considering getting a backup. Honestly, it's a beautiful palette. You can read more about it in my review. 

Yves Saint Laurent NU GLOW IN BALM Face Priming Moisturizer - I have been using this translucent balmy primer so much this year! It feels more like skincare than makeup, which I love! It has a very nice light and balmy texture. It feels hydrating and leaves the skin with an immediate fresh glow! The primer has no shimmer in it, it is just the fresh and balmy texture that makes your complexion glow. This formula smooths over texture and allows makeup to apply easily and evenly. For me, I love the glow it gives my skin. It just looks so healthy! 

Yves Saint Laurent NU TONE CORRECTOR & Complexion Booster - This lightweight tinted cream is an amazing corrector. I've been using the green shade to help correct the redness around my noes and cheek. It allows me to wear less makeup, which I love! The green tint isn't too intense and can easily be covered up with even a very sheer foundation. The green just lightly neutralizes the redness but it still looks really natural on my skin. It's been a staple in my routine these days and I highly recommend it! 

Hourglass Vanish Blush Stick - These cream blush sticks have a beautiful satin finish that will suit every skin type! Usually cream blushes lean too dewy or glowing for oily skin types but this one is very universally flattering with it's soft satin finish. It's not too dry either, which means it doesn't emphasize texture on the skin, especially, on dry skin types. You can find swatches of these in my review. 

LYS Beauty Higher Standard Satin Matte Cream Blush - These blushes were flying off the shelves at one point and for good reason! These cream blushes are incredibly pigmented and the shade range is very universal. You literally need a few tiny taps of this cream to get a noticeable flush. This formula is really effortless and beautiful on the skin. It does adapt a bit to the products you have underneath, so the finish can be satin or it can look a bit more dewy depending on what you have underneath. SKINCARE 

Augustinus Bader The Serum - This serum is is absolutely incredible and so worth the crazy cost! If you are serious about anti-aging, you need to try this formula! This serum really firms and increases elasticity, with visible results after one use but the results just continue to get better after each use! With a big discount like this, you may not find discounts on luxury skincare like Augustinus Bader. You can read my full review on this serum here. 

Augustinus Bader The Eye Cream - The eye cream is just as amazing as you would expect from Augustinus Bader. This eye cream has greatly diminished my fine lines already and I've only been using it for a month! Like the serum, it really firms the skin under there and your bags will disappear! Even when I haven't had much sleep, I don't get puffiness, bags, or darkness under my eyes when I started using this eye cream. A full review is coming soon but I do recommend it! 

Augustinus Bader The Cream - This is a classic favorite that will forever live in my skincare collection! This cream is probably the most amazing anti-aging cream I have ever treid! It's hydrating, firming, and increases elasticity in the skin. I love the The Cream over The Rich Cream because it is great for day and night! Makeup applied beautifully over it and when worn alone, it gives your skin a glass glow! You can read my full review here. 

Alpha-H Liquid Gold Exfoliating Treatment with Glycolic Acid - This is one of the best peels I have ever tried! You have to use this on bare skin and without anything else and you will see phenomenal results! This treatment really smooths out texture, softens the skin, and makes the skin glow! I have many backups of this product but if you don't I highly recommend picking it up! I have a full review of this product here. 

Alpyn Beauty Wild Huckleberry 8-Acid Polishing Peel Mask - This is one of my favorite exfoliating masks out there! This one has a delightful berry fragrance, little physical exfoliating pearls, and natural chemical exfoliating ingredients. This mask dries down and as you remove it and massage your face, it further exfoliates your skin. This mask gives you a serious glass skin look! I'm obsessed with it! Again, I have a full review of it here. 

Dr. Zenovia Skincare Peptide + Ceramide Repairing Moisturizer -This is a moisturizer that I have gone through 3 jars of just this year! Yes, it is THAT GOOD! This anti-aging moisturizer gives me the most hydrated, plump, smooth, and glowing skin! I just love using this moisturizer in the evenings and waking up with glowing, plump, and healthy skin! This is a moisturizer that just makes me smile when I look in the mirror because my skin looks so good! It's one of my staples in my routine! 

Dr. Zenovia Skincare Vitamin C Brightening Toner - I love adding vitamin c in my routine as much as I can. It's such a great ingredient for brightening the skin and preventing signs of aging. As a n antioxidant, it really protects the skin and this toner really helps balance my skin. It isn't drying at all and it really makes my skin glow! I'm on my second bottle of this product! 

Tatcha Luminous Dewy Skin Mist - When I want extra dewy skin, I start with this skin mist and I follow up with the rest of the dewy skin range. This milky and hydrating skin mist is very fine when it comes out of the bottle, which I love. It gives the skin immediate hydration and glow! It really is a very luxurious skin mist and I enjoy using it so much! 

Tatcha The Dewy Serum Resurfacing and Plumping Treatment - I bought this when it was released this year and then during the spring sale, I picked up a backup! This serum is so good! It's a hyaluronic acid serum on steroids! It's incredibly hydrating and plumping. It makes your skin look immediately juicy, dewy, and fresh! If you love glass skin and dewy skin, you definitely need to get your hands on this serum! It's absolutely delightful! 

Tatcha The Dewy Skin Cream Plumping & Hydrating Moisturizer - This moisturizer has been in my collectionf or a while but I love it even more now that I have the serum to pair with it. It really enhances that dewy effect that I love on bare skin or under makeup! This rich and balmy moisturizer makes a beautiful base for makeup and it really plumps out the skin. My dry skin loves this formula and I love using it to prep my skin. You can read my review of this moisturizer here. 

Youth To The People Mandelic Acid + Superfood Unity Exfoliant - This new liquid exfoliant is so gentle and it works so well for gently exfoliating the skin. This product pairs so well with other skincare products because it helps them penetrate deeper and work more efficiently. When I started using this product in my routine, my skin always felt so soft, smooth, and it had a noticeable glow to it! This exfoliant has definitely improved my skin and my whole skincare routine in general! 

Dermalogica AGE Smart Phyto-Nature Firming Serum - This serum is new to my routine but I'm a huge fan of it already! This anti-aging serum is a bi-phase and the pump releases both the oil and serum for a hydrating and nourishing treatment. This serum is plumping, line-smoothing, texture-smoothing, and really nourishes my skin overnight! I feel like my skin is being transformed when I use this serum. It just looks more youthful and healthy!

Dermalogica Biolumin-C Vitamin C Eye Serum - This super lightweight eye serum hydrates the undereye beautifully without feeling heavy or greasy. I am minila prone and I love this formula! It contains vitamin c, which really helps brighten and illuminates the undereye area. 

Herbivore Pink Cloud Soft Moisture Cream - This balmy cloud-like moisturizer really feels so soft and hydrating on my dry skin without feeling too heavy or greasy. It's just a beautiful bouncy moisturizer that plumps the skin and makes the skin look so healthy! It layers so well over my other products and seals in all the moisture I need for my skin. I love the clean ingredients and the gentle formula. 

Paula's Choice Hyaluronic Acid + Peptide Lip Treatment Booster - This lip treatment is a delightful clear gel-serum texture that glides over the lips and leaves the lips feeling instantly hydrating. It has a balmy-gel texture that makes the skin feel so smooth and plump. It delivers hydration for several hours and I have even used it to treat my lips overnight. This lip treatment is a great product to prep the lips for lip color. 

Paula's Choice RESIST Youth-Extending Daily Hydrating Fluid SPF 50 - This is one of my favorite SPFs because it is so lightweight and absorbs into the skin quickly. It has a high protection factor but it doesn't leave the skin with a white cast, it blends into the skin invisibly. It feels hydrating and nourishing but not greasy. I love using it everyday to ensure my skin is protected. 

OTZI Crystal Nova Gentle Makeup Removing Cleanser - This makeup remover and cleanser shockingly really works! It is a thick clear gel cleanser that breaks down all makeup and melts it aways but it doesn't feel greasy or oily. It just melts away makeup and leaves the skin clean without at residue! I really love using the cleanser over many of my cleansing balms because it doesn't have that greasy texture. 

Dr. Dennis Gross Skincare Advanced Retinol + Ferulic Texture Renewal Serum - This retinol serum is very potent but doesn't make my skin feel sensitive. This retinol delivers results after one use! It will make your skin so incredibly smooth, soft, and glowing! This formula increases elasticity and makes your skin feel so supple! A little goes a long way and you will definitely see a major reduction in lines and wrinkles. This is one of the best retinols I have tried in a while. 

Dr. Dennis Gross Skincare Advanced Retinol + Ferulic Triple Correction Eye Serum - This really lightweight retinol eye serum is a dream for those who are milia prone but are looking for a nice hydrating and antiaging eye treatment. This lightweight gel feels so refreshing under the eyes but it's also a potent retinol for treating fine lines and wrinkles! This eye serum has hydrated my under eyes and reduced my lines! 

DERMAFLASH LUXE Anti-Aging Dermaplaning Exfoliation Device - Peach fuzz on your face can completely change how your skincare absorbs and works but also how well your makeup sits on your skin! I swear by this dermaplaning device to help remove my peach fuzz and exfoliate my skin! I use it about twice a month and my skincare works so much better and my complexion makeup also looks better! It seems like a strange investment but this device helps remove that peach fuzz to quickly and easily. It really makes a huge difference and once you start doing it, you won't want to stop! 

BODY 

First Aid Beauty KP Bump Eraser Body Scrub with 10% AHA - This is by far the best one of the best body scrubs I have every tried! This scrub has a tone of fine sand-like particles but also a potent chemical exfoliant formula that leaves the skin feeling silky smooth and soft! You skin will literally be as smooth as a dolphin's after using this scrub, which is why I am absolutely obsessed with it! It is designed to get rid of KP, which if you gave dry skin can be a real issue. This body scrub is phenomenal and I will be purchasing this forever!

Nécessaire The Body Lotion - With Niacinamide - This is one of my all time favorite lotions because it does more than just hydrate the skin, it nourishes it! This lotion is packed with vitamins and it really makes my skin feels so amazing! It gives me the softest and smoothest skin. It really helps with very severely cracked and dry skin. Plus, it is designed to be like skincare without heavy fragrances or filler ingredients. 

Nécessaire The Body Serum - With Hyaluronic Acid - This is such a unique product! It's an actual serum for your body! You may be wondering why you would need such a thing but the skin on your body needs just as much love as the skin on your face. Maybe even more! This hyaluronic acid serum deeply hydrates the skin and leaves your body feel so soft. It really helps seal in the moisture from your body moisturizers and works together to really nourish the skin. If you're skin is feeling dehydrated or tight, you need to try this!

Sol de Janeiro Galaxy Gorgeous Set - This amazing body set comes with the bets of Sol de Janeiro! If you haven't tried the brand before, you're going to fall in love with their iconic delicious fragrance. This set is an amazing deal for the shower gel, body scrub, and body cream! I've been using Sol de Janeiro products for years and they're so luxurious, they're nourishing, and the smell amazing! I can't recommend this set enough whether it's a gift for someone or yourself! 

Sol de Janeiro Biggie Biggie Bum Bum Cream - This jumbo size of this amazing body cream is here only for the holidays and it is so worth it! This body cream is not only luxurious, luscious, and smells amazing but this bigger size is such a great value! You can slater this cream all over your body all winter long and still have more come summer. Plus, the fragrance is intoxicating! 

FRAGRANCE 

OUAI Dean Street Eau De Parfum - I've been eyeing this fragrance for some time now and the notes of  Mandarin, Lemon, Grapefruit just really speak to me. I love a clean and citrusy fragrance and I've heard only good things about this one. Also, I am a huge fan of the Ouai fragrances so, I'm excited to try this one out. 

Atelier Cologne Lemon Island Pure Perfume - This was my favorite spring and summer fragrance this year. With notes of Lemon from Indian Ocean, Jasmine from India, Vanilla Infusion from Madagascar, this fragrance is like refreshing vacation in a bottle! It's  a fresh, uplifting, and mood boosting fragrance! I got so much use out of this fragrance and with the discount it makes it so worth it! 

Atelier Cologne Vanille Insensée Pure Perfume - This beautiful and light vanilla fragrance has a sweet ness to it but isn't heavy or cloyingly sweet. It reminds me of a fresh vanilla ice cream, creamy and sweet but fresh. This fragrance has notes of Vanilla, Lime, Amber and it layers well with other fall fragrances. 

Mugler Alien Goddess Eau de Parfum - This fragrance is like Tom Ford Soleil Blanc but more tropical! It starts with a very fruity burst and then you get a touch of floral and a lot of vanilla. It's an intoxicating mix of fruit and floral that is balanced by the creamy vanilla notes. This fragrance contains notes of Bergamot Essence, Jasmine Grandiflorum, Bourbon Vanilla. While it isn't really anything like the original Alien fragrance, it's still beautiful and a winner in my book! 

Sol de Janeiro Anitta x Sol de Janeiro Perfume Mist - This new body mist is one of my all time favorites! It contains the soul of the original and iconic Cheirosa ’62 but with a punch of passionfruit! The passionfruit really comes through in this fragrance and it just makes you want to keep smelling it! The thing about Sol de Janeiro fragrances is that they're addicting and this one is no different! This mist contains notes of Passionfruit Nectar, Tiger Orchid, Pink Patchouli and it lasts a surprisingly long time for a mist! I hope they make this one permanent because it is so yummy! 

HAIR 

Sol de Janeiro Venus Rising Set - This haircare set really allows you to try the best of Sol de Janeiro haircare! I am OBSESSED with the hair mask and I have already finished two tubs! This kit comes with a hair mask, shampoo, and conditioner. It's the most wonderful hair experience and your hair will feel so silky soft and smooth! All the products smell like the amazing Bum Bum Cream that also comes with the kit! This is such a great gift set! 

Oribe Run-Through Detangling Hair Primer - This detangling mist smells incredible and it really helps me brush through my color-treated hair, which tangles easily. I find I don't need much and my hair feels very smooth, soft, and silky. It hydrates my dry locks and it's a great prep before I blow dry my hair. My blowouts come out soft and smooth when I use this. 

Oribe Mini Gold Lust Nourishing Hair Oil - I adore this lightweight hair oil because it smells so good but it doesn't make my hair greasy or oily. It really smooths out my hair, makes my hair silky, and adds a beautiful shine. I use it before and after heat styling. I really love the way this hair oil makes my hair look and feel. It's a very luxurious oil and you don't need much. I've had my bottle for a while now and I have barely made a dent in it even though I use it often. 

OUAI Finishing Crème - This is my all time favorite hair styling product! If you have issues with flyways but you hate using hair spray or gel to smooth them down, this is for you! This styling cream lays those peasy flyaways flat and it doesn't make your hair hard, crunchy, or greasy! It's such a beautiful product for smoothing and refining any hair style! I can't live without it and there's nothing quite like this product! I can't recommend it enough! 

dae Prickly Pear Hair Oil - This hair oil smells so yummy and fruity. This oil is lightweight and adds a ton of shine to my hair! I love using this hair oil when my hair is looking particularly dry and dull after heat styling to bring back the shine. It makes my hair feel very soft and silky too. This hair oil is on the more viscous side and I find I don't need to use as much to achieve the look I'm going for. 

dpHUE Apple Cider Vinegar Hair Rinse - I haven't been reaching for my shampoo at all lately because this hair rinse makes an amazing substitute. I've been using this product for years but only just recently rediscovered it and I don't know why I ever stopped using it! This rinse beautifully cleanses my hair, leaves it with a shine, and doesn't strip my hair color. I don't know if I ever want to go back to shampoo again. I have a review of this product here. 

Dyson Airwrap Styler - This device is my favorite hair styling tool ever! The multiple attachments allows me to style my hair in so many ways! From soft curls and waves to a sleek and straight blowout, this styler can do it! There's definitely a learning curve but once you get it down, you'll love using this! It is exclusively the only device I really use to style my hair! While it is pricey, I've found that I have gotten my money's worth out of it!
