| Review | Erborian Glow Creme

My obsession with glowing skin is never-ending and I will get my hands on anything that has even the slightest glimmer to it. Especially if it means my skin won't look and feel like a desert! I was very fortunate to be sent this beautiful glowing cream from Erborian.

The Erborian Glow Creme retails for $42.00 USD and is available at Sephora and other retailers. The product is packaged in a very functional and beautiful squeeze tube with an iridescent shine. The moisturizer dispenses out of a small funnel tip, making it easy to control the amount of product being dispensed. The plastic tube is also very travel friendly, which I always appreciate!

The product is a light white lotion with a multi-dimensional pearl throughout. The pearl has a pink, gold, and rose gold shift and is subtle but still provides a beautiful glow! The strong pink tones brightens up the skin and creates a very fresh look to the face. The product is intended to be a priming moisturizer for makeup. The cream is very light-weight and absorbs into the skin rapidly, leaving a glowing finish but no residue on the skin, perfect for makeup application! If my skin wasn't so dry at the moment, I would use this product on it's own but I find I need to put a little extra moisturizer on before using this. This does provide some moisture but if your skin is dehydrated, it may not be enough.

I love using light coverage bases so this product really shines through beautifully! The glow is soft and subtle under the makeup. The shimmer in the cream is very fine and doesn't emphasize texture or pores which is incredibly important to me, since I am suffering with some dry patches at the moment. The formula is light enough to be mixed in with foundation but the strange thing about this product is that it doesn't seem to sheer out the foundation, like most moisturizers, instead it seemed to help my base product provide more coverage! I can't be mad about this because while it provides more coverage, the texture is still incredibly light, and I love that I don't have to use more foundation for coverage but mixing in this illuminating cream can serve the same purpose!

This product looks particularly beautiful mixed into a light-coverage BB cream or tinted moisturizer! It creates this lush and expensive-looking texture and finish to the skin! This effect is very similar to the effect created by my beloved $250 Cle de Peau The Foundation (full review here)! Just try out and you can thank me later because you'll be obsessed with the way it blurs and creates a soft focused glowing look!

This glow cream seems to have many properties of a primer, reminiscent of products like the Victoria Beckham x Estee Lauder Morning Aura Illuminating Cream (full review here) or the Lancer Dani Glow Skin Perfector (full review here) or the Peter Thomas Roth Prism Cream (review coming soon), however it stands alone as a very unique product on the market because it doesn't have the same texture or finish as these products. I also think that if you are looking for something along the lines of an illuminating priming moisturizer, that this one is very high quality and at a reasonable price. Like the aforementioned products, The Erborian Glow Creme can be used as a subtle targeted highlighter on the high points of the face, mixed into your base, or as a moisturizer. Due to it's light non-greasy texture and ability to "set" upon application, it doesn't have a tendency to slip or move underneath product.

This product has quickly become one of my favorite products! I'm obsessed with mixing this moisturizer into my bases, it really transforms the texture and finish! I love the high quality of Erborain products and their reasonable prices. This is a very unique product in my very extensive glow collection and it is something I will keep in stock because I love the effect so much! I highly recommend this product for all skin types because it is so light and versatile. It is an excellent primer and gives me luminosity without a greasy look throughout the day. I have been a long-time fan of the Erborain brand and they were the first K-beauty brand I have ever tried. This moisturizer is one of my favorite products from along with their Bamboo Matte Lotion and Waterlock Masque (read my reviews here). These products made my Best of 2017 Skincare (check out this post here) for a reason and highly recommend you try out one of their products. I'm sure you will be hooked like I am!
