2018 was a year of innovative new skincare products and I feel have discovered so many amazing brands and products this year! I don't even know where to begin with sharing my favorite products of the year. I no particular order, here are some of the best skincare products of the year!
Elemis Cleansing Pro-Collagen Balm - This rich and creamy balm melts away all makeup and dirt. It is very hydrating and doesn't leave a residue (if you choose not to double-cleanse). A little goes a long way and the ingredients are so high quality. Check out my full review here.
Elemis Gentle Foaming Facial Wash- Creamy and lightly foaming, this cleanser is effective yet gentle! I love how soft and clean my skin feels without stripping my skin of moisture. It has been one of my go-to cleansers for the year. Check out my full review here.
Derma-E Microdermabrasion Scrub - This scrubs has very fine and abrasive particles that really get into pores and resurfaces the skin. The refreshing citrus scent is very energizing and you need so little to get the job done!
Tatcha Rice Enzyme Powder - This cult product came into my collection this year and I'm kind of obsessed! It is such a gentle cleanser and provides a very clean finish without feeling at all drying! I thought this product would be too messy, however; it is incredibly easy to use and is very effective.
Biore Baking Soda Cleansing Scrub - This is the drugstore alternative to the Tatcha Exfoliating Powder. It offers a very similar effect without the high price tag. This one is more geared toward oilier skin types, however' I really like it and I have dry skin. It is very effective for cleaning and refreshing the face.
Erborian Waterlock Masque - This hydrating masque can be used as a quick pick-me-up or as an intensive overnight mask. The light gel texture is cooling and soothing on the skin. This has been my go-to overnight masque since my skin is so dry. Check out my full review here.
Lancer Caviar and Lime Acid Peel - This intense peel is known for being Victoria Beckham's favorite and it's a favorite of mine too! The peel smells like key lime pie and it is potent. You will feel a little tingle but it isn't overly abrasive. You will immediately notice how soft your skin feels and the glow it has after using this. It really helps your products sink in deep and work more effectively!
REN Glycolic Lactic Radiance Renewal Mask - This radiance mask feels like a thick creamy oil but after removing it, it will have your skin glowing! It feels very hydrating and gentle while it helps remove dead skin and impurities, revealing supple, soft, and radiant skin!
CLEANSERS & SCRUBS

Algenist Splash Hydrating Setting Mist - This ultra-fine mist is amazing for hydrating the skin before or after makeup. It helps set and settle makeup while providing hydration. This is probably the finest mist I have ever used, it never disrupts my makeup. This is a must for dry skin types!
Dr. Roebuck's Bondi Face Mist - I love the natural ingredients in this mist, plus the fragrance is lovely. The mist isn't ultra-fine but it has a a good spray mechanism. It comes in a beautiful and luxurious glass bottle and it really help prep my skin for my skincare. It really helps my skincare absorb quickly and provides lots of hydration. Georgette Klinger Coconut Facial Mist - This facial mist is extremely affordable and has an amazing coconut scent! It has all natural ingredients and helps hydrate and prep my skin. I love the refreshing and fine mist, especially in the summer time. Check out my full review here.
Nature's Republic Aloe Face Mist - This extremely affordable K-beauty brand has a fantastic aloe face mist that is so soothing and hydrating. If you have any puffiness or inflammation, this feels so good and helps with the inflammation. It is very hydrating and has a lovely fresh scent!
TONERS & ESSENCES
Tatcha The Essence Plumping Skin Softener - This essence is pricey but it will make your skin so incredibly soft! If you want supple, baby-soft skin, you need to try this product! It absorbs very quickly into the skin and leaves no residue. It feels very refreshing and nourishing. I love the way this products makes my skin feel over time and it really has improved the health of my skin.
Elemis Lavender Toner - I'm not a toner person but this one is soothing and balancing, it makes my skin feel incredible. Unlike many traditional toners, it doesn't dry my skin out. It actually hydrates and balances my skin! Read more about it in my travel skincare review here.
Derma-E Essentials Radiance Toner - This toner helps promote radiance with ingredients like glycolic acid rooibos. This toner essentially acts as a gentle exfoliant to remove surface dirt and dead skin. It really is really gentle and doesn't dry out the skin. It helps product absorb better into the skin.
SERUMS
Algenist Genius Liquid Collagen - One of the most innovative skincare products to be released this year, this serum is packed full of collagen and microalgae oil to create a potent and effective anti-aging serum! Trust me, your skin will have a beautiful glow, bounce, and supple texture after using this for a week. This product is something I continue to go back to and use often, despite testing out other skincare products. While it is a bit pricey, the results are there and you will be blown away by the long-term results. Read my full review here.
AveSeena Essential Radiance Serum - A new brand to the beauty world but an amazing one! With potent natural ingredients, this serum isn't just clean, it's very effective! The softest my skin has ever felt is after using this serum and the Perfection Moisturizer. I love the high quality and natural ingredients in this serum. It will really make your skin glow! Elemis Pro-Collagen Super-Serum Elixir - This fusion of serum and oil is a dream! I love the intense hydration and nourishing formula. My skin feels amazing in the morning, it feels very hydrated, plump, and renewed!
Dr. Roebuck's Boost and Tighten Serum - This is one of my favorite natural and clean serums. It really helps boost collagen, tighten, and smooth the skin. I love the clean and healthy ingredients packed into this serum. It has a thicker gel consistency compared to many serums but it provides so much hydration because of the rich consistency! Willing Beauty PARTNER IN TIME Age-defying Serum - This serum formula has some oil contained in it that really hydrates and nourishes the skin. It feel very creamy and comforting on the skin. Algenist Splash Absolute Hydration Replenishing Gel Moisturizer - This light-weight gel moisturizer is incredibly hydrating! It feels very cool and soothing on the skin. A little bit goes a very long way and it feels almost like an overnight mask on the skin! The fragrance is a bit strong but if you can get over that, this is an incredible moisturizer packed with a ton of hydrating ingredients.
AveSeena Ageless Perfection Cream - Lightweight and potent, this moisturizer softens and hydrates my skin like no other! If you want baby soft skin, you need to try this moisturizer! The natural ingredients will nourish and protect your skin. Check out my full review here.

Peter Thomas Roth 24K Gold Prisim Cream - This illuminating cream is VERY pigmented and offers a very intense glow. The color is a pink champagne that works well on all skin tones. You can use this to "spot" highlight or all over the face. I love using this all over for an extreme glow from within look! It really makes you skin look radiant and offers a nice amount of hydration but without feeling greasy.
Derma-E Illuminating Rosehip and Cranberry Oil - Derma-E makes some of the best oils I have ever tried. This one smells lightly of roses and really makes your skin glow! I use it day or night and it looks incredible under makeup! This product is so hydrating and it has all natural ingredients in it!

Origins Ginzing Refreshing Eye Cream to Brighten and Depuff - I haven't really talked about this product very much but I have been using it for more than half of the year! This illuminating eye cream has a brightening peach-pink pearl and caffeine to tighten and awaken the under eyes! It is an amazing hydrating and prep eye cream for makeup. My under eyes always look fresh and bright despite the number of hours I have slept. It has a very nice cooling and soothing sensation to depuff the eye area.
Dermalogica Stress Positive Eye Lift - This cooling and depfuffing eye gel is released from a metal tip applicator. I really helps soothe and depuff the irritated eye area. The gel itself also has a cooling and tightening sensation, brightening and tightening the eye area. It is great for puffy lids or under eye bags. It absorbs rapidly and doesn't leave a sticky or greasy residue behind. It is actually considered and "eye mask" and its a total lifesaver for those who wake up with puff eyes, like me! It is great for prevention and soothing puffiness. I have taken this eye cream with me when I travel and it works well as a night treatment but also as a prep before makeup. It has a very smoothing texture and finish. This is a universal eye cream that can work for anyone of any age.

Stacked Skincare Collagen Boosting Micro-roller - I don't own, nor do I use, many skincare devices but since I received this roller, I haven't stopped using it. It is very effective for increasing absorption and increasing collagen production! I have seen unbelievable and miraculous results! I have seriously seen my laugh-lines plump out!
