Glow goals... My glow goals are very high and I am always down to purchase anything that says "glowing, illuminating, fresh, highlighting... etc." This Lancer Glowing Skin Perfector has been on my radar for a while but I hadn't heard a whole lot about it or what its purpose really was. I was very very fortunate to win Lancer's 50k giveaway on Instagram and receive so many amazing products! This one, was the one one I was the most excited for! 

The Lancer line was developed by Dr. Lancer, a famous Los Angeles-based dermatologist, know for his amazing knowledge and experience in skin care and treatments. His unparalleled treatments are designed to improve the skin's health and create his legendary and signature "Lancer Glow". 

The Lancer Dani Glowing Skin Perfector retails for $95.00 USD and is available at Sephora, Lancer, and other retailers. Yes, this hybrid skincare-makeup product is not cheap but when are excellent skincare products ever cheap? This product is reminiscent of the Tom Ford Radiant Moisture Souffle (see full review here) or the Victoria Beckham x Estee Lauder Morning Aura Illuminating Cream (very similar! see the full review here. This is not surprising since Victoria claims the Lancer Lime Acid Peel (review coming soon) is one of her favorite products. I suspect that the Morning Aura Illuminating Cream is inspired by the Lancer Skin Perfector.) which both have the same price! Luxury skincare always comes at a cost but this product definitely holds its own the the competitive beauty market. 

The Skin Perfector is beautifully bottled in a glowing pink bottle. The packaging has a metallic-pearlescent finish and it is sooo.... beautiful on your vanity! The packaging, although plastic, does have a bit of weight to it and it seems sturdy enough to travel with. I adore this whole line's packaging because it is so girly but very elegant and luxurious. It really gives you the impression that this line is meant to make you glow! The pump is also very high-quality and easy to control. Additionally, the pump doesn't get clogged up or cause the product to dry inside the pump.

The product itself is a sheer light beige with gold pearl in it. When applied to the skin it blends into it perfectly and leaves a beautiful and natural glow all over the skin. You can't see or notice any of the gold pearl it just offers a nice glow. The product is the consistency of a thicker primer. It really does smooth over any texture and pores! Combined with the Lancer Studio Filter Pore Perfecting Primer (review coming soon) you will have FLAWLESS doll-like skin! I recommend applying the primer first, and then the Skin Perfector on top for more glow and blur. I mean seriously, my skin looked SO smooth and perfect! Even alone, this product has amazing smoothing properties. On a lazy day, I could wear this on its own. It does provide a nice amount of moisture but with my dry skin, sometimes I still feel the need to wear a light moisturizer underneath. I recommend applying this product with your fingers because it is a skincare-makeup hybrid, you really want it to blend into the skin and apply evenly. When my makeup is applied on top, the makeup sits on top so beautifully and evenly! Throughout the day, I had to do a double-take in the mirror because I kept thinking "Wow! My skin looks so good! What am I wearing again?"

I also LOVE this product as a highlighter. It gives a pretty much identical glow to the Victoria Beckham x Estee Lauder Morning Aura Illuminating Cream. So I love to layer this product over my powder highlighter for a dewier and natural glow. 

While the price is very steep, you really don't need to use much and as hybrid the product is really doing double-duty! If I had to rank this product with it's similar counterparts, I would say its on par with the Tom Ford Moisture Souffle and better than the Victoria Beckham x Estee Lauder Illuminating Cream. I mean after the first use I had immediately fell in love but as I began to wear it more, I realized it wasn't a fluke and this product was just stellar! There are very few products that make me look in the mirror mid-day and smile because my skin just looks so good! This product really makes my skin look flawless and glowing! I can't get enough of this beauty!
