Let's be real, 2020 has literally been the WORST YEAR! While this isn't an ideal year financially for many, it would be really nice to try our best to lift the spirits of those we love with a little gift. This doesn't necessarily mean buying things, especially, if that's not possible. However, I do urge you to reach out to your loved ones, spend as much time with them as you can, and enjoy the best we can of the rest of this horrendous year. For those of you who are gifting and gathering a wishlist for insistent loved ones, I thought I'd compile a list of products that will promote self-care, relaxation, and peacefulness for the upcoming year. 

HOME FRAGRANCE 

I think fragrance is one of the most comforting gifts you can give someone is a good home fragrance. I don't mean pick a cheap candle up for someone because you don't know what to get them but finding a really fun or comforting fragrance for someone. Since I have been working from home, I love lighting a candle and setting up my home to be relaxing. Here are some products I have my eye on. 

Mala The Brand Cereal $30.00 - This brand has a ton of comforting scents in their range but this one really triggers my nostalgia. A fruity floral that is reminiscent of childhood fruit cereals is exactly what I need in my home to bring a little bit of joy. 

Cancelled Plans Remember Hugs? $32.00 - Another great scent to commemorate the year of social distancing because we could all use a big hug right now. Citrus, amber, and sandalwood - these notes definitely sound like a cozy hug. This is a great gift for anyone who you weren't able to visit this year.

Rosy Rings Botanical Diffuser $48.00 - I have several of these on my wishlist because they look so beautiful and the fragrances sound just divine. I really want to cozy up next to my fireplace with the spicy apple fragrance wafting through my home. What a great way to enjoy staying at home. 

FRAGRANCE 

Fragrances are very subjective but I think if you really know someone well, you can give them a very special and sentimental gift. I find that fragrances are really helping me through the lockdown, boosting my mood and helps me escape to a happier place even if I'm locked in the house. Also, there are a few sets that don't require you to have to know the person well to give them the gift of fragrance. 

Sephora Favorites Holiday Perfume Sampler Set or Men's Cologne Sampler Set $68.00 - Both of these sets allows the person to try a wide variety of popular fragrances. It also comes with a voucher for them to redeem a full-size of one of the fragrances! This set is such a steal and it comes with so many beautiful fragrance samples to choose from. The person you gift this to will be able to find the perfect fragrance for them. 

Ouai Melrose Place Eau De Parfum & Body Crème Kit $45.00 - One of my all-time favorite fragrances, this set comes with a travel-sized perfume and matching body creme! This fruity rose fragrance has some sophisticated musky notes that makes it so sexy. The only way I can describe this scent is that it smells expensive. The body creme is extremely hydrating and luxurious on the skin. I hope the body creme becomes a permanent addition to the range. 

Maison Margiela 'REPLICA' Mini Discovery Set $35.00 - This discovery set allows the person to explore the best of the Replica fragrance range! There are so many unique and complex fragrances here to love. All the fragrances are designed after memories so, they really take you away somewhere even when you can't go anywhere. This is a set that is on my wishlist this year! 

NEST New York Eau de Parfum Collection Set $40.00 - NEST has some incredible fragrances with complexity and sophisticated notes. Many of their fragrances are very sultry and seductive with rich notes that envelop you in a specific mood. This collection comes with 8 of the most popular scents for you or someone you love to enjoy! 

SELFCARE - SKINCARE 

Achieving good skin and healthy skin can really boost your mood and invigorate you. With such a difficult year we've been through and possibly a fairly rough year ahead, caring for one's skin can make a huge difference in your motivation and mood. I know since I've been spending most days at home, I've been focusing on tackling all my skin goals and taking some me-time. Whether it's a quick face mask or a full-on at-home facial session, you'll be giving the best gift this year, amazing skin. 

TonyMoly All You Need Mask Set $25.00 - This set is an amazing deal for 13 masks! I've been finding myself masking more as I work from home and the stress can get to me. Throwing on a sheet mask or something to detoxify my skin even for just 15 minutes feels amazing and is so relaxing. Since we're all stuck inside these days, a mask kit is exactly what I would want for the holidays...and maybe some wine. 

Patchology Night-In Self Care Skin Kit $30.00 - This head-to-toe masking kit sounds like a dream! You can treat your face, lips, eyes, feet, and hands with this total care kit. Right now, every night is a night in and we may as well make the most of it! 

Laneige Dream & Wonder Gift Set $29.00 - The Laneige lip mask is my favorite lip mask that I have been using for years! This kit includes one full size and two trial size flavors to enjoy. Hydrated and plump lips will definitely keep you smiling all year long. 

Augustinus Bader The Cream or The Rich Cream $265.00 USD - If you really love someone or yourself, you'll get this luxurious moisturizer formula. While incredibly pricey, this formula delivers some serious results and transforms your skin! This will truly bring you so much joy this holiday season to see your skin healthy and transformed. TonyMoly I'm Honey Mask & Hand Cream Set or I'm Lavender Sensitive Skin Set $14.00 - These great little stocking stuffer sets are a wonderful way to treat both your face and hands during winter. There's nothing more relaxing than spending an evening with a sheet mask, some hydrating hand cream, some wine, and your favorite show reruns on. With two different sets for different skin types, there's a delightful gift for everyone. 

Summer Fridays The Hydration Set $75.00 USD - This beautiful set has been on my wishlist. It contains three hydrating powerhouses - the Jet Lag Mask, CC Me Vitamin C Serum, and Lip Butter Balm all contained in a cute bag. I've only heard good things about the brand and I think any skin type will enjoy this set. 

NuFace Break the Ice Mini Facial Toning Device Set $180.00 - I don't recommend devices lightly but I have been using this device for over a year, consistently, and I have seen some incredible results! This device not only helps develop the contours of your face but it also helps reduce lines and wrinkles on the face. The science behind this technology is very sound and after trying out for myself, I can attest to its claims. This device has been a huge part of my selfcare routine this past year and it has brought me a lot of joy and comfort to use. Think of it as a massage for your face that includes microcurrent technology. This device is definitely worth gifting to yourself or anyone who appreciates skincare treatments since we can't get them professionally done at the moment. 

SELFCARE - BODYCARE 

Bodycare is one of the best ways to care for and treat yourself or someone you care for. I have found myself developing several different body care routines to distress, soothe, and just care for the skin on my body. This year more than ever, we all need some rest and relaxation and I think these products will certainly help. 

Elemis Body Detox Skin Brush $45.00 - I just discovered dry brushing and I'm totally hooked! Not only will this ritual will help detoxify your body by increasing circulation and assisting with lymphatic drainage, but it also helps soften and exfoliate the skin! If I have the time, I try to do it twice a day, once in the morning and again at night. It's a very soothing feeling brushing yourself and it really does make your body and skin feel so good! 

Augustinus Bader The Body Cream $165.00 - This is the most luxurious and rich body cream that I have ever used! You only need very little but this large tub is packed with a ton of goodness! This cream just melts into the skin, hydrating, smoothing, and softening the texture of the skin. Your skin will feel and look incredible. Augustinus Bader The Body Oil $95.00 - This luxurious body oil feels light but has a wonderfully rich and hydrating feeling on the skin. It is so easy to apply and instantly soothes and hydrates the skin. It gives your skin an incredibly healthy glow and softens the skin almost instantly! Necessaire The Body Serum $45.00  - This is one of the most unique body products I own! This hydrating serum is developed specifically for the body and it has become a bodycare game-changer for me! This serum will turn dry, scaly, and flaky skin into healthy, smooth, and hydrated skin. Necessaire The Body Lotion $30.00 - Like a daily mulit-vitamin for your skin, this lotion is packed with nutrients to not only hydrate and balance the skin but also make the skin healthier! This lotion has transformed my skin and made it significantly healthier and stronger. It also ensures that my skin rarely gets dried out and stays balanced. For the price, you really can't get a better moisturizer for your body! 

Necessaire The Body Exfoliator $30.00 - This exfoliator contains not only fine physical pearls for remove dead skin cells from the surface of the skin but it also contains AHAs and BHAs to exfoliate deeper into the pores. This exfoliator makes your skin so incredibly soft and smooth but also helps your skin stay healthy! This brand just knows how to do body care right and I don't think anyone could be disappointed about receiving this! It even comes in several fragrances and a fragrance-free version! 

Elemis Tahitian Escape Duo $80.00 - This luxurious set contains the Frangipani Monoi Salt Glow and Body Cream. The Frangipani Monoi fragrance is such a luxurious floral fragrance. It is soothing, relaxing, and sophisticated. There's nothing that makes me feel prettier than when I use these bath and body products. I can't get enough of these products and anyone would be very happy to receive this set. 

SELFCARE - HAIRCARE 

It may seem strange that haircare is part of selfcare but since my face is covered when I'm out and I haven't been using much makeup, hair is the way I express myself now. Having silky smooth and prettily styled locks has been bringing me joy and that's what selfcare is about. 

Olaplex Holiday Hair Fix Kit $60.00 - The Olaplex range has been keeping my lightened hair from becoming a ratty mess by smoothing and hydrating out my locks. This set is such an amazing value and gives you a taste of almost everything the brand has to offer. These products really help repair any damage to the hair and completely renew it. I can't recommend the brand enough and this is an awesome set for anyone who appreciates good hair. 

Gisou Honey Infused Hair Oil $87.00 - This luxurious hair oil has been one of my favorites this year! You don't need much of it and it will give you extremely shiny glassy-like hair! It also really softens the texture of the hair, which goes beyond what traditional hair oils do. This also makes my hair silky smooth, preventing my hair from tangling, which it is very prone to doing. 

Dyson Airwrap Styer $549.00 - I was very hesitant to purchase this set but I adore using this device. I love curling my hair but an iron causes so much damage over time. This device gives you beautiful bouncy curls without the harsh heat. This device has a learning curve but I'm terrible at styling my hair and I didn't have a difficult time figuring it out. I recommend watching a couple Youtube videos and practicing. I also love that I can get a bouncy blowout without figuring out the rounded brush and hairdryer technique. I just don't have that kind of coordination and this styler has it all built-in so, I can just use one hand. If you're terrible at hair but you want the look of professionally styled hair, this device is for you!
