Sorry, that this year I am like a month behind on everything. It's been a busy start to the year and I've been very busy on the weekends. I really want to be on top of my favorites this year and I will try to get them up on a timely manner. I can't promise I will be on time but I'll try. Anyways, because the winter weather has been so rough on my skin and my allergies are out of control right now, I have been gravitating toward extremely rich and nourishing formulas. I basically slather myself in oils everyday but I've really found some routines that are working for me. 

SKINCARE 

Instytutum Melting Cleanser -  This cleansing balm in a tube is a delightful makeup remover and cleanser. It has a super fresh fragrance and it very gently breaks down and removes all my makeup. I love the convenience of it being in a squeezable tube. It doesn't make my skin feel greasy or too oily after using it and it washes away everything.  

Elemis Superfood Facial Wash - This fresh and simple cleanser always gets my skin back in order after the holidays. It is packed with superfood nutrients and is so gentle. Because of my allergies, it's triggered a bout of eczema, which is a real pain. This cleanser is great for my sensitive and extremely dry skin. Plus is cleanses away extra dirt and makeup so well! Tatcha The Essence Plumping Skin Softener - This essence has served me well for several years and I have decided that it's going to have a permanent home in my collection because it makes my skin look and feel so good! I have noticed a tremendous difference in the softness and elasticity of my skin since I starting using this product. It actually makes my skin look so plump and fresh! Of course it softens my skin a lot as well!

Dr. Jart Peptidin Radiance Serum - I'm really hooked on this serum because it actually does make your skin look more radiant after you apply it! I have been using these Dr. Jart serums for the past 2 months and I couldn't be happier with how my skin looks and feels. If you just wear this serum and no makeup, you will notice the radiance and freshness in your complexion because of this serum! 

Dr. Jart Peptidin Firming Serum - I usually switch off evenings between this serum and the radiance one. This firming serum is so hydrating, smoothing, and plumping. Again, it just makes my skin look so fresh and firm. I may be getting older but you can't tell because my anti-aging routine really focuses of healthy plump looking skin. I love this anti-aging serum!

Elemis Super Serum Elixir - A classic serum that has been in countless favorites, especially in the winter because it is sooo.. nourishing and hydrating! A hybrid between a serum and an oil, this is seriously a SUPER serum and I swear by it! If you want to know more about this formula, read my review here. 

Instytutum Retinol Oil - Another new addition to my routine but I immediately fell in love with this rich anti-aging oil after one night of use! I awoke with my glowing and feeling so hydrated and renewed. I knew that this was going to be a staple in my collection. It really has transformed my skin. I have smoother, softer, and plump youthful looking skin. 

Malie Organics Botany Beauty Illuminating Serum - This oil blend makes my skin so glowing and fresh! I love the rich texture and the way my skin looks immediately after application but also long-term. It really does help promote a beautiful glow and has the most luxurious ingredients. Herbivore Phoenix Oil - This natural oil is packed with some dreamy anti-aging ingredients and is another staple in my collection. It is so gentle and nourishing. It helps maintain moisture in the skin, helps with cell turn over, and is a naturally vitamin packed oil. I break down all the goodness in this formula in my review here.

MAKEUP 

Kevyn Aucoin Weightless Beauty Oil - This oil made it into my makeup section because I've been use exclusively for mixing into my foundation. It helps make my foundation glide on to the skin, adds a beautiful glow, and helps keep my skin hydrated throughout the day. This has been an essential in my makeup routine an it is a product I will repurchase when I run out. Check out my full review on this oil here.

Tom Ford Waterproof Foundation/Concealer - This creamy full-coverage foundation is one of my all time favorite foundations. It gives you a beautiful natural and velvety finish to the skin and it lasts all day long. I love mixing this with the Kevyn Aucoin oil for a glowing finish and a boost of hydration. This combo covers all the redness around my nose, caused by my allergies, but still gives my dry skin a healthy glow. Plus, even with the oil mixed in, it lasts all day.

NYX HD Concealer - I don't often go for drugstore products but this concealer is sooo.. good! It covers and brightens my under eyes so well. It stays in place even when I don't set it. It's such a great affordable concealer. What else can I say? It just gets the job done so well.


Tom Ford Moodlight Skin Illuminating Duo - I pulled this beautiful duo back out of the depths of my collection and fell back in love with these powders. They work so well together to give my skin a serious glow! The bronze half is my favorite and it makes a fabulous sculpting cheek color, try it, you'll thank me. I also like to use the bronze all over my eyes for a quick and polished look.

Rituel de Fille Rare Light Luminizer in Phosphene - This complex light pink highlighter offers a beautiful soft glow to the cheeks but because of the complex fine shimmer, it can be built up to be so much more. This formula is completely natural and clean. It can be used all over the face as a highlighter, eye color, or even lip color. This is a really stunning shade and the versatile formula is a delight to use.

Rituel de Fille The Alchemist Highlighter Intensifier - This highlight topper is STUNNING! It is a crazy intense and sparkly diamond-like cream that makes your cheeks twinkle. It creates that glass-like shine and shimmer is this sheer crystal-like shimmer with fine rainbow reflects. It will seem too glittery at first but you need to keep patting and blending it out and you'll get the most stunning wet-looking highlight! It looks beautiful alone but it is meant to be paired with the Rituel de Fille Luminzers.

NYX Suede Matte Lip Liner in Rose the Day - This has to be one of my all time favorite nude lip colors and it's super affordable! This shade is the perfect warm nude with a subtle pink undertone. It just compliments my skin so well and I'm obsessed with just putting this liner all over and topping it with a bit of gloss.

BODY 

Atelier Cologne Vanille Insensee - I got this fragrance as a Sephora point perk and I'm so obsessed with it! I love vanilla fragrances but since I'm an adult now, I can't stand those sickeningly sweet and sugary vanilla fragrances. This one is the perfect amount of sweetness and warmth that makes me feel so cozy and happy but doesn't overwhelm me with sugar. It's a very sophisticated vanilla fragrance that is non-offensive and can be worn everyday for work. Sometimes I mix it with the Tom Ford one below.

Tom Ford Vanille Fatale Private Blend Fragrance - I wanted to put this in my 2018 favorites because I have so many samples of this from every time I visited a Tom Ford counter that I basically wore it year round. I finally bit the bullet and bought the full size recently but I love wearing this fragrance alone or mixed with the one above. This vanilla fragrance is a complex fragrance with the sweetness of the vanilla but just a touch of smokiness and depth from notes of leather. The leather really balances out the sweetness and adds a bold and sexy element to the whole fragrance. I can't get enough of it, it's an addicting fragrance, especially for this time of the year!
