Review: Tom Ford Radiant Moisture Souffle
The Tom Ford Radiant Moisture Souffle contains 50 mL/1.7 fl. oz.for $98.00 USD sold at Nordstrom, Tom Ford, Neiman Marcus, and other retailers. Yes, you saw those numbers! Its EXPENSIVE but its also Tom Ford, the epitome of luxury beauty. Yes, I am a little bias, I adore the Tom Ford Beauty line but I also consider myself an honest person.

As much as I would LOVE to slather this over my body, from head to toe, I couldn't afford that. This
product is everything I was hoping Charlotte Tilbury's Magic Cream would be! The Magic Cream fragrance was so
strong I honestly thought I has put body cream on my face! It also felt heavy
and it did not give me the "glow" I was expecting. It didn't look
healthy, it looked closer to greasy. Additionally, the Magic Cream retails for
$100.00 USD, more than the Tom Ford and not even close to the quality. I was expecting an overpriced MAC Strobe Cream but Tom Ford souffle exceeded all my expectations!
The
Tom Ford Radiant Souffle had a very very light fresh scent, it’s almost undetectable.
Sensitive skin peeps rejoice! My skin is not sensitive; however, I know many
people with fragrance sensitivity, and I feel very strongly this will not
affect those who have a sensitivity to fragrance. Although the product is a
cream, it is not heavy and is easily absorbed into the skin. It does provide a
lot of hydration and I do find that the cream plumps my skin! I do not have
many "lines" on my face, however, I feel my face being hydrated and
plumped! It is also incredibly smoothing. I love how soft and smooth my skin
feels. It is what I expect from a $98.00 face cream!
I
find my makeup applies very well and sits beautifully on my face. It seems to
make my makeup look flawless and poreless. I find my makeup applies very evenly
and just looks seamless! It is a great skincare and primer combination! It
may be too heavy for a combination or oily skin type. I am currently on the
normal/dry side but as summer approaches, I will oil start to creep up and
cause a meltdown. This may be too heavy for the summertime or for those with
oily skin.
This
cream feels so luxurious and makes your skin look so healthy. The
"glowing" part of this product comes from very very fine mica
shimmers in the product combined with the hydrating glossy cream texture. If
you're worried about the shimmers being visible on the skin, it's not! You can
get up very close and you won't be able to detect the fine
mica. If you love the Tom Ford Illuminating Primer, you will LOVE this! With
the skincare properties in this product and the beautiful glow, you may want to
invest in this product over the primer.
My one very
very small disappointment in this product is that it doesn't have any
SPF/sun protection. This isn't absolutely necessary for me, however, this is a
"summer" product and I feel a summer skincare product should have SPF
in it. On the other hand, I also love the fact that it doesn't have SPF because
you don't have to worry about flashback in photos! Obviously in the summer you
should probably wear a higher SPF than what is normally put into a moisturizer,
so having SPF in this moisturizer is a bit pointless. I like having SPF in my
daily moisturizers because it's one less product to layer and buy. During the
week, I am mostly inside and I don't worry about having a high sun protection
in my skincare routine. Anyways, this is a very minor downside for me. I love this
product so much, I'm willing to change my entire daily skincare routine in
order to incorporate it.
Overall, all I have to
say is... MR. FORD, PLEASE MAKE THIS PART OF YOUR PERMANENT LINE!!! [ Update:
11/08/2017 This is now a permanent part of the Tom Ford range!]
This product is worth
every pricey penny spent on it! It is everything I wanted and expected in a
luxury radiance cream. My skin feels amazing when I use it and even my makeup
looks better! If this is a permanent item, it will be a permanent addition to
my skincare and makeup routine. I really do hope this will become a permanent
item because it is everything I have been looking for in my skincare routine.
If you're about that glow life, then you NEED this!
