Review: Tom Ford Winter Soleil Cool Palette

The Tom Ford Winter Soleil Cool Palette retails for $155 USD and is available at Neiman Marcus, Sephora and other retailers.
The packaging is even more luxurious than palettes in the past. The palette has a good weight to it and feels significant in your hands without being so heavy that you cant travel with it. It is a very reasonable size and can fit into an evening clutch. The closure is magnetic but still opens and closes easily. It looks very classy perfect for a holiday party.
The palette comes with a blush, a highlighter, and a eyeshadow quad. Here is my breakdown for the cool palette.
Cool Bright Pink Blush - a satin finish blush with very very subtle glow. The shade leans very cool but can work well for a warm skin tone. The blush is reminiscent of the Dior Rosy Glow Blush in color. It gives a very fresh look to the cheeks.
Pink Champagne Highlighter - a pale pink champagne shimmer. It offers a nice glow, especially on a warm skin tone because of the contrast. The shimmer is very fine, making it easy for oily skin types to wear. It doesn't emphasize texture or pores on the skin.
Pink Glitter Eyeshadow - a sheer light pink glitter shadow. This glitter is on sheer side compared to the glitter in the warm palette. It can still work as a stand alone shadow and has multi-dimensional shimmers in it. The swatch doesn't do it justice, you can't see the dimensional sparkle.
Purple Glitter Eyeshadow - a sheer lavender glitter shadow. This glitter is also, on the sheer side but it is still a multi-dimensional beauty. Like the pink glitter, it has multi-dimensional sparkle in it.
Purple Taupe - a satin shimmering taupe. This shade is a very unique purple taupe shade. The texture is very smooth and creamy. It has great pigment and compliments the sheer glitter shades. This is by far, the best shadow in the palette.
Deep Plum Eyeshadow - a deep shimmering plum shade. The pigment is very strong and the texture is very smooth. The warm plum sparkle running through it gives the shadow lots of dimension.
Overall, I recommend this palette! It is incredibly high quality and the products apply beautifully. The colors all compliment each other very well. However, I can't recommend it over the warm palette because the two glitter shades are on the sheer side but if you love these girly feminine shades, its a must have. I don't believe these shades are as versatile as the warm palette and I don't believe they compliment everyone. It is still a lovely palette and it contains lots of product.
