Review: Tom Ford Winter Soleil Warm Palette

This season Tom Ford has really outdone himself with these all-in-one luxurious face palettes. I love seeing the gold and white packaging reemerge for winter. I knew from the time I saw the teaser images, that I HAD to have these palettes!

The Tom Ford Winter Soleil Warm Palette retails for $155 USD and i available at Neiman Marcus, Sephora, and other retailers.

The packaging is even more luxurious than palettes in the past. The palette has a good weight to it and feels significant in your hands without being so heavy that you cant travel with it. It is a very reasonable size and can fit into an evening clutch. The closure is magnetic but still opens and closes easily. It looks very classy perfect for a holiday party.

The palette comes with a blush, a highlighter, and a eyeshadow quad. Here is my breakdown for the warm palette.

Coral Blush - the texture is a bit powdery but it applies very well. It adheres to the skin and blend in beautifully. The pigment is strong, so I recommend starting with a little bit. The blush is a stain finish and offers a very very subtle glow. I can see this shade working for pretty much all skin tones.

Peach Champagne Highlighter - the shade in the pan is very reminiscent of Becca Champagne Pop. The finish is much more subtle and offers a natural glow. The texture is soft and blends into the skin smoothly. This highlighter will work for oily skin types because the shimmer is soft and won't emphasize pores or texture.

Light Gold Eyeshadow - is a soft satin shimmer. The texture is very smooth and pigmented. It is nice for a lid or highlighting eyeshadow. The gold is a light yellow gold that will compliment both warm and cool skin tones.

Bronze Glitter Eyeshadow - is a fine bronze sparkle. Like Tom Ford's other glitter shadows, it is very sophisticated and closer to a glimmer. This glitter is also very pigmented and stands a lone as a shadow and isn't just a shadow topper, It is my favorite shade in the palette because of the beautiful glistening effect it gives to the eye.

Rose Bronze Eyeshadow - is a soft satin shimmer. The shade is somewhere between a rosegold and bronze. It is very unique and the texture is very creamy. The shadow is very pigmented and blend like a dream.

Deep Brown Eyeshadow - is a dark chocolate shade with gold flecks of shimmer. It is very pigmented and blends nicely. The texture is satin but it is not as creamy as the other shades. It is still very easy to work with and add lots of depth to your look.

Overall, I think this palette is well worth the extravagant price! It is incredibly high quality and creamy in texture. All the products coordinate very well with each other and create a very beautiful and cohesive look. The products last on the skin, I used this palette for my bestie's wedding and I had my makeup on aaalllll day (over 12 hours) and it still looked fab! I recommend this one over the cool palette because it is so versatile and can work for all skin tones. Also, I find the quality of the shadows to be better.
