Have you started stocking up on summer essentials yet? I'm ready for summer already and I'm preparing for sunnier days! As much as I love tanned summer skin, I think it is incredibly important to protect your skin whenever you step outside. I'm excited to see this latest launch from Bali Body for the summer. It is a product that everyone can use and needs to protect themselves! Plus, this formula is innovatively designed to be used both on the face and body! This review is sponsored by Bali Body but as always, my thoughts are my own and will always be honest. 

The Bali Body Face & Body Sunscreen Spray SPF50 retails for $28.95 USD and is available at Bali Body. This sunscreen is dispensed through a beautiful baby blue aerosol canister. The mist function has an open and close mechanism that can be controlled by simply twisting the cap. The bottle is large but not unwieldy and it is easy to grip for small hands. The bottle is a good size to pack in a beach bag or everyday handbag. 

FORMULA 

As you can already tell, this formula is a liquid, dispensed through an aerosol method. This is a popular application method these days, as it is quick and easy. I love spray-on sunscreen for ease and convenience. It gives you no excuse to not apply sunscreen and it makes it easy for you to apply sunscreen all over the body. There are often times when I can't reach certain areas of my body but, a spray-on application method allows you to cover even more difficult areas by yourself. While some may consider spray sunscreens a bit messy, I recommend just being aware of how far you're spraying from, the angle you're directing the nozzle, and the way you move the bottle. 

The mist on the sunscreen is incredibly fine and distributes very evenly on the skin. A common reason why people don't prefer spray sunscreens is that they are concerned about missing areas of the skin. Due to the very fine and even distribution of this sunscreen, you don't have to be concerned about a patchy application or a lack of sunscreen coverage. This light sunscreen applies as a misty liquid veil with a very consistent spray mechanism. So, you don't need to rub sunscreen into the skin if you don't want to. If you are concerned about coverage, you can rub the sunscreen into the skin to confirm your coverage. I have not had any issues with the coverage of the sunscreen on the skin. 

The light mist also makes it ideal for applying sunscreen to the face! I would typically not use an aerosol sunscreen on my face but this one has such a nice light and even mist! It doesn't feel heavy, wet, or greasy. You can wear this sunscreen under makeup without it feeling greasy and you can apply your makeup as you normally do. It doesn't break down the wear of your makeup. It feels as lightweight as a facial mist and it just coats the skin incredibly lightly gently. This is not a volatile or spring spray but, a true even mist! You can feel comfortable and confident, just closing your eyes and misting without fear of getting awkwardly blasted in the face. Also, if you need to touch up your sunscreen throughout the day, this is a great option! You can actually mist it over your makeup without disturbing your makeup! Also, this formula doesn't burn or sting the eyes, which makes face application pleasant!  

Also, this nourishing formula is enriched with vitamin E, which nourishes the skin, provides antioxidants to the skin, and further protects the skin from sun damage. It also contains glycerin, which helps retain moisture on the skin, providing deeper hydration while you're in the sun. The formula protects from both UVA and UVB rays while maintaining water-resistant for up to 80 minutes! This is so great for hot and sweaty summer days! 

The real beauty of this formula is that you can use it head to toe! It feels wonderful on the skin and body. It's light, hydrating, and fast-absorbing. When you're dealing with body sunscreen, you want it to absorb quickly and not feel greasy or tacky on the skin. I feel good just applying this one and throwing on my clothes immediately without having to worry about getting sunscreen all over my clothes. Plus, the formula is completely invisible! So, if you have a medium to deep skin tone, you don't have to worry about looking ashy from sunscreen application. 

FINAL THOUGHTS 

This sunscreen mist is not only a summer essential but a daily essential! We should be protecting our skin daily and while I already was with my daily sunscreen, this product has quickly taken its place! I love the convenience and ease of the aerosol mist. It has made my morning routine much easier and faster because I don't have to spend time rubbing in my sunscreen. I can quickly flash this sunscreen all over my exposed skin and get straight into doing my makeup for the day! My skin feels really great and it is well protected with the SPF 50 protection factor! I love that makeup applies really well over this product and that it doesn't feel greasy or sticky as I put my clothes on. It's really the ideal sunscreen texture and finish! This formula really is special because it is designed to be used on the face and body! It really works on the face much better than any other aerosol sunscreen I have tried! It is non-irritating to the eyes and doesn't disturb your makeup when applied over or under makeup. When it comes to protecting your skin, finding the right products is so important! From formula to ingredients, this sunscreen hits all the important factors I look for in sun protection and provides so much more! This is skincare and suncare merged at its finest! I can't recommend this sunscreen enough!
