Woah, where the heck did January go? I don't know what happened this year but it seemed to go by faster than before. I am happy to see the trends of 2022 seem to be sticking to minimal makeup and healthy natural-looking skin. Everyone seems to be very skincare and complexion-focused going into the new year and I can't blame them! That's exactly what I'm always working on going into the new year because with all the overindulging from the holidays, we can all use a little more skin love! 

1. Chanel N°1 DE CHANEL Red Camellia Revitalizing Foundation - This foundation takes first place on this list and in my life! Seriously, this foundation makes your skin look airbrushed but so incredibly natural that it looks like the skin of your dreams! It is a surreal finish that looks so perfect and glowing! It's honestly this indescribable and ethereal filtered veil across the skin that I have rarely seen in from most foundations! This foundation is truly one-of-a-kind and I can't recommend it enough! 2. Chanel N°1 DE CHANEL Red Camellia Revitalizing Lip and Cheek Balm - These lip and cheek balms are just a beautiful way to achieve a dewy cheek! These balms have a nice glossy finish but the formula isn't sticky or tacky at all. It also isn't greasy or too emollient. It has a very comfortable texture for both lips and cheeks! I just love the healthy finish of these on the cheeks. They make my cheeks look hydrated, healthy, and plump. These also last on the skin a shockingly long time! I found that on warm days, these stayed fresh on my cheeks for eight hours! You can learn more about this formula in my review.

3. Kaleidos Space Age Highlighter in Ray Rider - Wow! I don't think I could love a highlighter more than this one right now! This stunning champagne highlighter has an ultra-smooth and creamy texture! It feels like a cream when it glides onto the skin but it is a powder! It really blends seamlessly into the skin but it also gives the skin a strong pop of pigment! These highlighters come in a wide array of very unique shades but this one is by far my favorite! It is a highlighter that can be used subtly or it can be really bold and have people asking, "what are you wearing"? 

4. Farmacy Beauty 10% Niacinamide Night Mask - Wow! That's all you'll say once you try this overnight mask! I have always been a huge fan of niacinamide but somehow Farmacy has made this ingredient magical! The mask is a rich and balmy gel that creates a cushiony veil across the skin. You'll awaken with the most beautifully refined skin, which means the texture of your skin will be significantly smoother, softer, and your pores will be shrunken! Yes, this will shrink your pores making your skin look incredible and perfect! My skin looks the best after using the night mask and I can't recommend this formula enough! 

5. Innbeauty Project 10 + 10 Moisturizer with 10% Vitamin C + 10% Peptide Complex + Ceramides - The name may be a mouthful but the formula is lovely! This light gel-cream moisturizer is hydrating, gentle, and versatile. Winter is always a rough time for my dry skin. It seems to be extra reactive to many active ingredients and it also needs a lot more moisture than usual. This formula is gentle enough for how sensitive my skin has been feeling lately but it is still packed with active ingredients to treat and care for my skin. This formula is great for using day or night, it primes the skin really well for makeup. This cream pairs well with all of my other skincare products no matter how much I switch those products up. 

6. Dr. Dennis Gross Advanced Retinol + Ferulic Intense Wrinkle Cream - The potent anti-aging cream I have been reaching for is this one! I love the serum and eye serum in this range and they recently released this face cream. It is just as incredible as the other products in this range! The cream is rich and intensely hydrating but it doesn't feel heavy to greasy. It still feels quite light on the skin and deeply hydrates the skin overnight while treating major signs of aging! This cream has me waking with phenomenally soft, smooth, and glowing skin! While it is potent, it doesn't cause my skin to feel irritated or reactive. Most nights I pair it with the Retinol + Ferulic Serum and Eye Serum but it stands alone really well too! 

7. Dermalogica Daily Microfoliant Exfoliator - This product is a cult classic for a very good reason! This unique cleanser comes in powder form and when you mix it with a touch of water, you froth the powder up into a light foam that deeply cleanses thanks to the chemical exfoliating ingredients. While it is a chemical exfoliant, it is very gentle but it just gets your skin super clean and it works so well to gently exfoliate the skin! If you find most exfoliators too harsh for your more sensitive skin, this one is amazing because you can use it every day and it leaves more skin noticeably exfoliated! My skincare always sinks in deeper and works more efficiently when I cleanse with this product. 

8. Dermalogica Awaken Peptide Depuffing Eye Gel - A new release from the brand and much-needed addition to my routine. I found myself super stressed at the end of last year and going into this year, which meant I was sleeping much less than I wanted to. This gel feels instantly hydrating, cooling, and soothing in the mornings. You really feel it working its magic, which I love! If you have chronically puffy eyes in the morning, this is for you! This gel sinks in quickly and within minutes your bags will be reduced and your eyes just look brighter, more awake! This is a great formula that I reach for every single morning! 

9. Sol de Janeiro Hair Oil - Hair oils are probably my most used hair treatment and styling product. I couldn't be more excited to see Sol de Janeiro come out with their own version! This hair oil smells exactly like their iconic Cheirosa '62 fragrance, which is a delicious mixture of Salted Caramel, Pistachio, Vanilla. The oil is a bit thicker than what you would typically expect but it still feels incredibly light on the hair and doesn't make your hair greasy. It just adds a beautiful shine, softens the hair, and smooths the hair. It's a beautiful and luxurious hair oil that rivals some high-end hair oils. 

10. Commodity Fragrances Book Bold+ - This month I rediscovered my love of reading and rediscovered Commodity Fragrances! Commodity is making a comeback into the beauty industry with their Scent Spaces, which is one fragrance but in three different intensities. Each intensity level has slightly different notes but essentially the same fragrance DNA. I have always love the Book Scent and the Bold+ version is a more intense woody fragrance. It really reminds me of being surrounded by books in a huge library with a warm lit fireplace going on in the center of the room. This fragrance is such unique a cozy fragrance for winter but it is one I enjoy year-round. It really just makes me wanna relax with a glass of wine and crack open a book.
