The Lisa Eldridge Enlivening Blush retails for $34.00 USD and is available at Lisa Eldridge. These cream blushes are housed in a sleek white plastic tube with a clear fine tip. This packaging is modern, practical, and great for traveling. The packaging is simple but is actually quite genius and it all comes down to the fact that she made the tip of the tube clear. The clear tip allows you to see the product as you're squeezing it so, you can see and control how much product you're dispensing. The tube is sleek and easy to carry about.

SHADES

This blush range currently comes in six adaptable shades that will suit a wide range of skin tones. All the shades seem to be very versatile and are designed to build up, even on deep skin tones. I expect no less from a color range designed by Lisa Eldridge. You can also mix together shades to create your own unique blush color. All shades are beautiful but I only picked up a few:

Pink Soap - This shade is a muted dusty medium pink.

FORMULA

This cream blush formula is a very unique combination of cream, gel, and liquid. When you first squeeze the product out of the tube it appears to be a cream but as soon as you start tapping it into the skin it feels more like a gel and it blends into the skin like a liquid! It's a kind of a crazy formula because you get the best of each of these formula types. It really feels like water when you blend it into the skin, very light and refreshing.

This formula is best applied with fingers because of the unique texture of this blush. When you squeeze it out, it is almost a solid bead of blush. You need to press into it to break it up into a cream formula that is easier to apply. I would recommend squeezing it onto the back of your hand and then working it into the skin. If you don't, you may apply too much product to the skin. You'll want to lightly dot the product onto the skin and then using your fingers, brush, or sponge to blend the blush out.

When you use a brush or a sponge, you will achieve a more subtle or buildable look. These are very richly pigmented and you really only need to start with half a pea-sized amount for both cheeks. You can easily build the pigment on the cheeks as you need to by adding just a little more at a time.

When you blend this blush into the skin, it leaves the cheeks with a super dewy and fresh-looking finish. This is when it also feels more like a liquid blush than a cream. It really leaves the cheeks with this juicy, plump, and really glowing finish. This blush looks so dewy and healthy! It is a little wet-looking and feeling. You will definitely have a dewy texture sitting on your skin. I love this kind of finish but it isn't for everyone and it also means it doesn't last as long.

I find that this formula wears between four to 8 hours or even longer, depending on your skin type and other environmental factors. On a hot day, this blush will start to noticeably fade at four hours, but on a cooler day, I can wear this blush long past 8 hours with barely any fading. When it fades, I like to reapply because I like having a healthy flush to my cheeks, but this would require me to carry the blush around with me. This isn't a huge issue because the tube is so travel-friendly but it can be an inconvenience. I wouldn't wear this if you're expecting to have a really long day or you need your makeup to stay in place.

THE LOOK

You can see how dewy and fresh these look on the cheeks. They're very vibrant and pigmented. They look like this on the skin for quite a while.

FINAL THOUGHTS

These blushes have an incredibly unique formula! I really haven't come across anything like it and I have tried many cream, gel, and liquid blushes. It's so rare to come across a new and innovative formula these days but this one is actually something different! I love anything that will give me a dewy and wet glow so, this formula is right up my alley! I love the way it makes my cheeks look fresh, plump, and juicy! This dewy formula will probably not work for an oily skin type because it is already not long-lasting on a dry skin type. I don't mind the shorter wear time because I like the dewy glow and for a blush that is so dewy, it actually lasts quite well. For me, this formula isn't about the wear time but the texture and finish. These blushes are truly unique and phenomenal! If you love a dewy glow, you're going to love these! I am tempted to pick up the other shades in the range because I have been enjoying these so much! I can't recommend them enough!
