| Review | AveSeena Gentle Gardenia Anti-Pollution Gel Cleanser 

AveSeena recently reformulated and added exciting new products to their clean beauty brand! To kick start your skincare routine, this luxurious cleanser is ready to join your routine. AveSeena a unique brand because it is founded by Dr. Ebru Karpuzoglu, an immunologist. She developed this brand with the immune system in mind because cosmetics get absorbed into our bodies and the chemicals can affect our immune systems! She introduced the concept of Dermoimmuno Beauty Technology, which are science-backed formulas that focus on the health and wellness of your immune system, as well as your skin! This is what makes the brand and its products so unique. 

Not to mention, Dr. Ebru Karpuzoglu happens to be a huge beauty junkie and prior to creating her brand, she was a very active contributor to the beauty community. This is actually how she and I became such close friends. While we are very close friends, I still won't be holding back on the critique and she knows this. I was kindly gifted this product but I was not asked to review it or feature it in any way. I am featuring it because I truly want to share my thoughts on her products and I really believe in her brand.

PACKAGING & PRICE  

The AveSeena Gentle Gardenia Anti-Pollution Gel Cleanser retails for $48.00 USD and is available at AveSeena. This cleanser is housed in a beautiful, heavy, black glass bottle. The bottle feels so luxurious and heavy. I love the small pump that makes it so easy to control how much product is being dispensed. Each pump is a small amount but ensures you don't waste the product. I love glass bottle packaging because not only does it feel luxurious but it is also sustainable packaging. Just be very careful not to store this in your shower because you don't want to risk an accident. 

FORMULA 

The first thing you will notice about this cleanser is that it smells so soothing and delightful! The gardenia fragrance is so soft, natural, and soothing. It is really a dreamy and luxurious fragrance that makes the cleansing experience so luxurious and special. It seriously smells SO AMAZING! I would like a candle and perfume that smells like this! This formula has a beautiful gel texture and it feels almost cushiony on the skin as you begin to massage it into damp skin. The cleanser is so gentle with a very light, barely-there foaming effect but it emulsifiers to an almost milky cleanser. Foaming cleansers are fun and often mimic the idea of being gentle but they often contain chemicals to create this excessive foaming effect. I actually prefer a cleaner that doesn't excessively foam. 

Like I stated, the cleanser feels cushiony and it feels really hydrating on the skin. I often double cleanse and I can see the remaining makeup on my skin melting away. When I rinse it all off, my skin feels clean but not at all dry or stripped. It doesn't leave your skin with that "squeaky clean" feeling, which, trust me, you don't want. "Squeaky clean" often means your skin is being stripped of essential oils and nutrients. No skin type benefited from a cleanser that leaves the skin "squeaky clean" because it means dry skin types are being stripped of essential oils and nutrients and for oily skin types, oils that normally balance your skin are big stripped. 

This cleanser leaves my skin soft, smooth, and silky. This is much more of a hydrating cleanser than other cleansers that I have tried, which I really appreciate because of my dry skin. The ingredients in this formula are pH balanced to be gentle on the skin and they really are! No irritation, no dryness, or tightness occurs when I use this cleanser. I love how soft and supple my skin feels after using this cleanser. It's almost like I'm using a treatment on my skin and not a cleanser, which I very rarely feel with cleansers.

FINAL THOUGHTS 

I don't often find the need to spend an excessive amount on cleansers but I don't believe in buying cheap cleansers either. I think there is something to be said about getting what you pay for and you really get what you pay for with this formula! It's really luxurious and effective but it doesn't break the bank like other luxury cleansers. I really trust the formula not only accomplishes the basic task of cleansing the skin but also treats the skin! I think many cleansers are effective at cleansing the skin but to treat and prevent the skin from being stripped of nutrients makes this formula impressive. I love all the nourishing ingredients included in this formula! It is such a gentle cleanser that I'm not concerned about using it twice daily, which I often don't do with many cleansers. This formula feels like such a luxurious treat, which I almost never feel that way with a cleanser but the sensation of massaging this into my skin with the beautiful aroma feels so amazing! I can't recommend this cleanser enough, it has become my everyday go-to cleanser and I am often hesitant to reach for anything else!
