It used to be that skincare was just a means to prevent the inevitable but with the development of science and technology, topical creams have gone so much farther! We can not only prevent signs of aging but we can even repair them! Introducing the latest skincare innovations from Elemis, the ULTRA SMART range, which takes advanced skincare to a whole new level. This day cream claims to serve up some major results within 28 days and I couldn't be more excited to share my thought. This cream was gifted to me by Elemis. 

The Elemis ULTRA SMART Pro-Collagen Enviro-Adapt Day Cream retails for $295.00 USD for 50ml  and is available at Elemis and other retailers. This cream is housed in an excessively large jar with a cool rippling design embedded in a clear exterior jar. The jar is much too big for how much product is in the container but it does feel very luxurious. 

FORMULA 

This moisturizer has a light and balmy texture but it still has a rich and hydrating feeling on the skin. It has a gel-cream texture that absorbs quite quickly but still leaves the skin very hydrated. Your skin will feel hydrated all day long but the moisturizer doesn't feel too heavy or greasy. It leaves the skin with a hydrated, smooth, and soft texture. Makeup applies beautifully over this moisturizer and it doesn't cause your base to move around. Since it doesn't contain sun protection, it is still very important that you use sunscreen on top of this moisturizer. This formula layers and works well with other skincare products and makeup. 

You will notice after your first use that your skin feels SIGNIFICANTLY softer and smoother! It is impressive how quickly this formula starts to work and treat the skin. Over time and especially when paired with the Elemis ULTRA SMART Pro-Collagen Night Genius, your skin will become incredibly smooth, soft, supple, and elastic! This routine will really have you touching your skin constantly because you'll be shocked at how baby-soft and smooth your skin feels! Even if you don't exfoliate your skin while you're using this, your skin will feel so incredibly smooth and soft. This is how you know there is cell renewal occurring. 

After one week of continuous use with the night cream, my skin feels the softest and smoothest it has ever felt! I can't help constantly touching my face! I tested it for a week without using any other products to see how it performed on its own. I also highly recommend using this with the night cream because they really do make the perfect pair to treat the skin around the clock. I'm very impressed at how this cream has made my skin so soft and supple. It really feels and looks renewed! I can see how smooth the skin on my forehead is, it almost looks like plastic that's how smooth it looks! 

After 28 days, my skin is naturally glowing and incredibly smooth! I would call the effect, glass-skin. My skin has the smoothest and slickest texture with a healthy glow all over. My makeup applies so evenly not only due to this formula but because my skin has been transformed to the smoothest texture! I mean, what texture? I just don't feel any texture on my skin! My skin also feels unbelievably soft and supple. This moisturizer just hydrates and plumps the skin to the point where lines disappear and your skin feels so saturated with nourishment. I can tell the elasticity in my skin has increased because it has such a healthy look and bounce to it. When I touch my face, which I do a lot these days thanks to this cream, it just springs back! My skin is so firm and well-nourished but most importantly, my pores don't get clogged by this formula. Like I said before, this formula makes your skin look flawless like it's plastic!

FINAL THOUGHTS 

I am incredibly impressed with this range of products but particularly with how this day cream actually delivers visible results. Typically, I don't bother with a potent anti-aging formula for the daytime, but this one works really well under makeup and it doesn't feel too heavy. I find that many anti-aging creams are very heavy because they are so nourishing but this cream has the perfect hydrating texture but still feels light. The best part is it is actively working to make my skin look and feel better! Every time I use this cream, I just want to touch my face because it feels so smooth and soft! This formula really makes your skin feel so supple and elastic! It just has the healthiest bounce to it and my skin is always glowing! This formula is definitely one that has made my skin look so good, I don't want to wear makeup or at least not a lot of makeup. I find myself constantly reaching for this cream over my many others because of the way it makes my skin look and feels! With very little product and very little time, this cream transforms the skin and turns back the clock! While it is a very pricey cream, it is well worth the price! I am considering picking up a back up tub of this and the night cream because I can see myself just tearing through this jar! I can't recommend this cream enough, it will truly transform the texture and appearance of your skin!
