| Review | Natasha Denona Love Glow Cheek Palette
Do you believe in love at first sight? I don't know if I really did until I saw this cheek palette! It initially didn't have me in love, so it was more love a first sight of the swatches. When I saw the glowing swatches of these shades, I knew it had to be mine! After all, I was a HUGE fan of the Tan Palette (full review here).
PRICE & PACKAGING
The Natasha Denona Love Glow Cheek Palette retails for $55.00 USD and is available at Sephora. This limited edition cheek palette has a unique snow globe-like packaging! The front of the compact is pink with a clear panel and beautiful confetti and glitter suspended in some water! It is mesmerizing and magical packaging. This is very fun and feels very appropriate for the holiday, Valentine's Day, which this was released for. The compact is magnetic and opens to reveal a large mirror and the beautiful products inside.
SHADES
Like previous glow palettes from the range, this palette contains four shades of different textures and finishes. They're intended to be used together and when used together, it creates a multi-dimensional glow.
Glow Base - This glowing warm pink cream has hints of magenta and red undertones. It is a vibrant coral-pink that has no visible shimmer but has a dewy finish.
Super Glow - This shade is a vibrant warm coral and strong gold shimmer throughout it. This shade has a drier cream formula and is extremely pigmented.
Diamond Powder - This shade is a vibrant cool pink shimmer with gold reflects. These diamond powders don't add a ton of color to the cheeks but it does add a tone of shimmer and glitter.
Glow Impact Powder - This gel-powder highlighter is a golden-champagne shade with strong reflect but not visible particles of shimmer. This is the same highlighter shade from the Tan Palette.

COMPARISON SWATCHES
The one product I really wanted to compare is Glow Impact Powder from this Love Glow Palette to the Tan Palette. Though they look identical in the pan, the Love Glow one actually has a subtle pink reflect and tone to it.
I also grabbed the Diamond & Blush Palette in Darya, which has very similar shades but they have different textures and overall, the Darya palette runs much cooler in tone.

FORMULA
As the name implies this is a very VERY GLOWY palette and when with Natasha Denona, she's never afraid to amp up the intensity and even a bit of shimmer. This palette is not for the faint of heart when it comes to the glow and it is also unfortunately not for those with textured skin. These products do contain quite a lot of shimmer, glitter, and glow. Even when applied lightly, these products will give off a strong radiance, which will emphasize textured skin.
Personally, for my dry skin at my young age, it looks great but I can't see this palette working for more mature skin types, acne-prone or textured skin, and even those with extremely dry skin may find that these extremely shimmery textures will emphasize ever bit of texture! Honestly, even for my taste, I just find layering all of these products to be waaay too much. If you layer all four products there's really no way of being subtle about it.
I actually love the two cream products layered together and even the highlighter with these too but when the diamond powder comes into play, it's just too much! The diamond powder is extremely glittery and it is hard not to make it look tacky or overdone. You can use the diamond powder on the eyes, which I would recommend because, on the cheeks, it's just so excessive. If you have any pores, the diamond powder is going to make those show and look huge.
I have to say that I LOVE the wear of these products! I was very impressed to see my cheeks last with barely any fading for 8+ hours! My complexion looked really fresh and my skin was glowing, as you would expect from a palette like this.
THE LOOK
This is the look with all the products layered on top of one another. It is very intense and very glowy. I recommend keeping the rest of your makeup very subdued and just let your cheeks shine and glow.

FINAL THOUGHTS
This palette is really not for everyone. The textures and finishes suit a very small range of makeup preferences and skin types. If you have oily skin or textured skin, you will most likely want to avoid this palette at all costs. The glossy textures layered with the glittery finishes will emphasize every pore, imperfection, and texture on the skin. The shimmer and glitter in these formulas is very intense and it really can't be subdued. It's kind of all or nothing with these formulas and I'm here for it!
I'm also fortunate enough to have fairly good and dry skin, which this palette works optimally with. I really wish they would offer a palette of just the glow bases because they are a beautiful glossy formula but they don't contain any shimmer or glitter. This formula is my favorite and on that will work for a wider variety of skin types and ages. I am a big fan of this palette and if you enjoy a super intense glow and sparkling cheeks, I highly recommend this palette. Natasha Denona has created some really incredible formulas here that are very unique and are beautiful alone or layered. I hope to see more of these palettes come out soon, preferably with more oily and textured skin-friendly formulas.
