| Review | Tom Ford Fucking Fabulous Lipstick
A Fucking Fabulous lipstick to pair with your Fucking Fabulous fragrance? Yes, please! By the way, if you haven't already noticed, there's going to be an excessive amount of cursing and alliteration. Just a heads up. Ooooh... maybe as you read this, you can make a drinking game every time you see "Fucking Fabulous"! Haha... When I first reviewed the fragrance, I painted the imagery of the ultimate boss babe wearing this fragrance. I must say, as soon as I saw the lipstick, I think I was spot on with that description. The Tom Ford Fucking Fabulous Lipstick retails for $60.00 USD and is available at Nordstrom and other retailers. This lipstick is limited edition and it costs $5.00 more than their classic lip colors, this is pretty normal for special edition and limited edition products. This isn't the first time Tom Ford has released a makeup to pair with one of his fragrances, he has done it in the past with his Orchid fragrances. This lipstick is beautifully packaged in a matte black tube to match with the fragrance bottle. Very modern , chic, and cool.
The Fucking Fabulous fragrance embodies confidence, boldness, and sex appeal. The notes are extremely unique and a quite androgynous. If you had to come up with perfect shade of lipstick to pair with this fragrance it would definitely be red. Tom Ford really nailed it on the head with his shade selection. This red is a cool-toned red with subtle pink undertone is not only an extremely sexy and confident shade but is quite universal and wears well on most skin tones. The pink tone is not strong in this shade, it is just a hint that cools the shade down a bit but it is quite a neutral true red shade. With a slightly glossy finish, this lipstick is a bold and sexy red!
This shade is very close to Cherry Lush but it doesn't have as much pink as Cherry Lush. I think this makes the shade much more universally flattering. The pigmentation is extremely rich and creamy. It glides on to the lips very easily and feels very comfortable. The finish is slightly glossier your traditional cream finish but not by much. As you would expect, it's a very sexy red lipstick.
Overall, if you're a fan of red lipsticks, this one is a winner! You can't go wrong with this universal red. It has a beautiful creamy and comfortable texture. These lipstick never dry out my lips. In fact, they often help soften and hydrate my lips. This lipstick very pigmented and lasts for a very long time. You don't need a lip liner because this lipstick doesn't bleed however, it does help get you a crisper finish to the edges of your lip. I have to say, this lipstick is Fucking Fabulous! It is everything you want for a fresh day look or to glam up your evening look! I highly recommend the Tom Ford lipstick range. These were the first makeup products he has ever brought out and they are still some of his best products in the entire range!

I created a day and a night look with this lipstick. For the day look, I lightly patted the lipstick on with my fingers for a soft and fresh stain. You can see the pink undertone to the lipstick when applied this way. I also used Tom Ford Cream Color for Eyes in Opale all over my lid and up to the brow as a primer. Then I used the two matte shades from the Tom Ford Cocoa Mirage Quad to sculpt my crease. For the cheeks, I applied the Tom Ford Shade and Illuminate Cheeks in Sublimate, the blush has the same tone as the lipstick and it looks very glowing and fresh. Alternatively, you could just the lipstick for your blush.
For the night look, I used the lipstick applied full on with a Make Up For Ever red lip liner to crisp up the edges of my lip. I also used the Tom Ford Disco Dust Eye Quad. I applied the light warm camel shade in my crease, the deep sparkling chocolate as a liner, and I pressed the champagne glitter all over the lid.
