| Loves | Peach, Orange, and Coral Summer Lip Edit
Peaches, Oranges, Corals,... Oh my! Every spring and all throughout summer, I start to gravitate toward vibrant and fresh warm lip colors! They seem to brighten the complexion and add the perfect touch of color. Whether it's a soft peach mood you're in or a bright pop of coral you want if your life, summer is the perfect time to play with these shades and even transitioning into fall, they look stunning. I thought I would share some of my favorites from my extensive collection of warm orange-toned lip colors.
PEACH
Kaplan MD Perfect Pout Lipstick in Malibu - This lipstick contains SPF 30, which is so awesome for summer when you really need to protect your lips! This light peachy shade is beautiful on a fair to medium skin tone and is my kind of shade for the transition from spring into summer. The formula is on the waxier side but still has a creamy texture. I do find I need a couple passes over my lips for a smooth even application. It gives you a a creamy finish with some sheen.
Wet N Wild Megalast Liquid Catsuit Matte Lipstick in Nudist Peach - This soft medium peach shade has a slight pink tone to it and will compliment fair to tan skin tones. This is a perfect year-round shade, if you love peach lip colors and the formula is incredible! These last so long and they're actually comfortable! For the very affordable price tag, I absolutely love this matte lip formula!
The Beauty Crop GRLPWR Liquid Lipstick in Peach Please - This shade is a much more vibrant peach shade that will suit fair to deep skin tones! The formula is quite matte and I do notice you will need to layer the lip color to get a truly even application. The formula is comfortable but it does dry to a very matte finish. The color is such a beautiful punch of peach that really brightens the complexion!
CORAL
MAC Vegas Volt Lipstick - A classic MAC lipstick, this fresh and light coral borders between a peach and a coral. This is a very pigmented lipstick and has a beautiful creamy finish. One swipe and you're in coral heaven. This shade will compliment fair to even deep skin tones, it is such a stunning creamy coral.
Wet N Wild Megalast Liquid Catsuit Matte Lipstick in Coral Corruption - This shade is quite a true coral but it is also a bit muted, which makes it so easy to wear for anyone! If you are trying to dip your toes into more vibrant shades, I think this one is ideal because not only is the shade very wearable, it's very affordable! Again, these matte lip colors wear like iron but they're extremely comfortable! Definitely, one of the best drugstore lip colors I have found!
Cle de Peau Radiant Liquid Rouge Lip Lacquer in 16 - This is more of a sheer and balmy textured lip color. While it is on the sheerer side, you can actually get a lot of pigment by layering and it offers this beautiful glossy finish to the lips. The formula is extremely comfortable and balmy. It will smooth out your lips and disguise any dry spots. I love the way this feels and looks on the lips! The color is a very fresh orange-toned coral.
PINK-CORAL
Burberry Liquid Lip Velvet in Light Crimson - This shade is a very pink-toned coral that can sometimes look more pink and other times look coral. I have been getting a lot of compliments every time I wear this lip color but the formula is a bit tricky to use. The texture is almost like a liquid mousse and it applies a little weird but I find it looks absolutely beautiful and perfect after it has been blotted! After you blot the color, you get this truly perfect velvety finish! I can see this shade working for all skin tones from fair to very deep! It is a very pigmented lip color. Chanel Rouge Allure Ink in Creatif - This shade is another pinky-coral but this one leans more on the fresh pink side with a coral undertone. Again, I find this formula a bit unusual and finicky. I don't know what it is about this liquid formula but it takes some layering and working to get it perfect but it does last a long time. The color does lightly stain the lips, so you will get a lot of wear out of this lip color! This lip color provides a stained finish to the lips.
Loutboutin Silky Satin Lip Color in Miss Loubi - This shade is swatches with the oranges because I thought it was more orange than it actually is but this shade is another pink-coral shade. Although it is called a "satin" lip color it is more of a cream finish with a bit of sheen to it. It is very pigmented and reminds me of the MAC amplified finish lipsticks. While this formula is beautiful and luxurious, it doesn't warrant the high price tag because the formula isn't that unique. The color however, it very beautiful.
ORANGE
Hourglass Confessions Lipstick in I Live For - This orange-coral shade is so uplifting and brightens up the complexion! This shade will look stunning on all skin tones from fair to deep! The small bullet allows for so much control over application and the lipstick is very pigmented. The formula is different to many lipsticks in that it has this thicker texture that clings to the lips but it is very comfortable to wear. I find these lipsticks last longer than traditional lipsticks as well!
Dior Satin Rouge Dior Liquid in 442 Impetuous Satin - This is a beautiful orange-coral shade with bits of gold shimmer. The finish of these satin lip colors is so unique and beautiful. It offers this soft satin blotted-lip look. It is really something special and unique. The lip color is extremely comfortable and it wears for quite a long time. I think this formula is highly underrated and I love this shade!
Dior Addict Lacquer Plump in Dior Glitz - This lip lacquer has a beautiful and very fun glittery finish! Although it is quite glittery because of the gel formula, it doesn't feel gritty! It has a very smooth and balmy texture that feels wonderful on the lips! The color is a bit more orange than the previously mentioned shade in Dancefloor. One thing to note is while this glittery finish is beautiful, ti doesn't wear off well. The glitter moves and bunches up as you eat and drink and it does become quite noticeable. Still, the color and finish are so fun, I don't mind the way it wears!
Tom Ford Metal Flame Lip Lacquer - Finally, the most true orange shade of the bunch! This shade is a vibrant tangerine with gold shimmer throughout it. It is extremely pigmented and you really only need one coat! This formula will last forever! It has some serious wear-time! The color is such a fun and vibrant color for all skin tones! I can see this looking incredible on a deep skin tone! This is one of my favorite lip colors and formulas!

Dior Addict Lacquer Plump in Dancefloor - This shade is a very fresh pink-toned coral lip color that will suit most skin tones. I love the balmy texture of these lip colors and the finish is this unique jelly-like finish! These are quite pigmented and can be layered for a more vibrant color. These lip colors also lightly stain, so the lip color will lasts throughout the day.
