The Lock-It Edge Setting Powder brush is available at Sephora and retails for $38.00 USD, This brush is made of synthetic hair and has a long black handle that tapers to a point, inspired by a witch's broomstick. This brush handle can be found on her entire line of brushes. The brush itself is of an average brush weight, not to heavy but not light and cheap feeling. The hairs on the brush create a rounded tapered brush tip. The brush head is only slightly smaller than your average powder brush. It is quite dense at the base of the hairs but fluffy on top.

The Sephora website describes it as:

An ultimate loose powder brush for setting and perfecting the entire face. The Lock-It Setting Powder Brush was created after testing dozens of other loose powder brushes, in pursuit of the perfect tool to pair with Kat Von D’s groundbreaking Lock-It Setting Powder. Its distinctive silhouette features a perfectly rounded shape and long, tapered bristles—an artist's secret to efficient-yet-seamless, all-over setting. The fluffy density optimizes the dispersion of loose powder across the face, so you get a soft, diffused veil of powder with one effortless, even application.
Designed with superb-quality, its soft synthetic bristles are arranged in the ideal proportions to apply the finest loose powders—including the Lock-It Setting Powder—lightly and evenly to blur imperfections and smooth your skin's texture. The sleek, stiletto handle was inspired by a witch's broomstick, and its smooth, sturdy acrylic handles are weighted for an ergonomic grip and ultimate control.

The hairs on the brush are impressively soft! I think this is my favorite thing about this brush, I just want to rub it all over my face! The brush is only slightly smaller than a powder brush so while setting under your eyes, you will probably set the skin on your cheekbones and a bit beyond. I usually expect a setting brush that is marketed with a concealer to be smaller, so you have more control over where your are setting. It is described as a smaller version a regular powder brush for all over setting, which does allow for some control, compared to a standard powder brush. It does pick up product well and applies product beautifully, minus the inability to set only smaller areas. It is very exceptional quality and again, very soft! It goes well with her incredibly light weight setting powder!

Overall, I really do love this brush! I think the quality is fantastic and the softness is a dream! I highly recommend this brush for those looking for a smaller powder brush! It, of course, can be used for a variety of other applications, such as, bronzer or blush. I think this brush is the perfect accompaniment to the setting powder. It is not very unique but it is a beautiful brush for the price!

Let me know your thoughts on this brush> do you agree with me? or disagree? What is your favorite setting brush?
