A refrigerator for your skincare? It may seem a little excessive or extra but it's actually an amazing concept! While it is a bit of a luxury to own, you will find that it is an actual worthwhile investment considering a skincare collection is quite an expensive investment that you'd want to preserve. Storing your skincare products in a cool and dark space prevents the break down of active ingredients, maintaining the potency of your skincare for longer. Also, the refreshing feeling of cool face mist, mask, or moisturizer is such a treat in the mornings or on hot days. This is a beauty essential you didn't realize you needed until you have it. This COOSEON 7L Mini Skincare Fridge - C7 was gifted to me by the brand but as always, these are my honest thoughts. 

PRICE & MODEL 

The COOSEON 7L Mini Skincare Fridge - C7 retails for $104.98 but is currently on sale for $84.98 USD and is available on COOSEON. This model comes in several sizes, depending on how much you need to store. This is the 7 Liter mini fridge, which is a great mid-sized model for anyone with decent sized skincare collection. Each of the mini fridges come in different colors. This particular model only currently comes in black and white. 

COMPACT SIZE & FEATURES

This adorable mini fridge has the following dimensions - Inner Dimensions (L x W x H): 5.51 x 7.09 x 10.63 in.(14 x 18 x 27 cm) Outer Dimensions (L x W x H): 9.06 x 9.84 x 13.78 in.(23 x 25 x 35 cm). This compact size allows this fridge to sit on my vanity beautifully without taking up too much space but it also holds a ton of product! I will say that I wish the bottom of the interior wasn't rounded because it makes it harder to fit more products into the fridge. Even with the rounded interior, you can still fit quite a lot of products inside. 

This mini fridge comes with two removable plastic shelves and one removable basket for the door. This really allows you to customize and organize your products. I recommend using the basket on the door for sheet masks, slimmer bottles, rollerballs, and other small tools or items. 

While the shelves are sturdy, they aren't really designed to hold a lot of weight. I would recommend if you have taller bottles and products, I would remove the bottom shelf and place all the tallest products on the bottom of the refrigerator. Then, you can place smaller and shorter jars or products on the upper shelf. 

While the compact refrigerator is actually quite light and portable, the door is a nice heavy magnetic door that closes and seals tight. It really keeps in the cool air and maintains the very cool temperature of the refrigerator. It is still easy to open with the low-profile handle, that sits close to the refrigerator, keeping the design sleek but still making it easy to access the interior. 

The front of the mini fridge door has a beautiful reflective mirror, large enough to apply skincare and makeup! The other amazing feature of this mini fridge is the LED light embedded in the mirror, which not only looks modern and chic but it provides much needed ambient light for product application. This is a very premium and luxurious feature to add to a device. It really gives this fridge so much value. The LED light is dimmable with three light settings, which helps you customize your lighting for application. I love the customizable lighting because I actually get ready in my closet and the lighting isn't great. The LED is a clean white light, which gives you a very clean and true color when you're applying makeup. 

Finally, the addition of a top handle makes this adorable little fridge portable! While it may not be something you want to take on a flight with you, a long road trip or even a weekend away will benefit by having this fridge at your side. It is a helpful resource to have not only for your skincare but if you're on a trip, you can store some food and snacks in there since many hotels don't come with a mini fridge. It even comes with an adapter to run this fridge in your car for traveling! This little portable fridge really takes convivence to the next level!  

The fridge has an impressive temperature range of  28.4°F (-2°C) to 140°F (60°C). This large temperature range allows you to easily customize for your storage needs, making this compact fridge really versatile. You can't actually select the exact temperature but the simple cold and hot switch will control your fridge temperature. Frankly, I wouldn't want to try to figure out selecting the temperature, as long as it properly cools or heats, I am happy. You may be wondering why would you want your fridge to heat but it is a good tool to store warm towels in for you and your guests. I think that is a really fun concept for a at home spa day or just make every day a spa day! 

HOW I USE MY SKINCARE FRIDGE 

There are a multitude ways to use this mini fridge but here are some products I frequently store in my fridge: 

• Eye Creams/Gels/Treatments 
• Gel/Gel Cream/Light Cream Products
• Face Mists/Essences/Toners
• Masks/Sheet Masks
• Skincare Tools/Face Rollers/Eye Rollers

I think these products feel better when applied cold to the skin. Many of these products when applied cool will help with skin irritation, inflammation, redness, and puffiness. 

FINAL THOUGHTS 

I know many people will find a product like this gimmicky but it really isn't! I actually already stored my skincare in a mini refrigerator but it isn't as compact as this one, it is more the size of an actual small refrigerator. However, most people don't keep a small refrigerator in their bedroom and this super compact skincare fridge is the perfect solution! When you switch to using products that have been chilled, it's a whole other experience. The products feel so much more soothing, relaxing, and luxurious. It has really changed my skincare routine especially, in the mornings. This compact unit has  really changed my vanity set up. It has made my products easier to access and has help maintain their potency. I love the way it looks on my vanity and I love that it doesn't take up much space. It really is such a convenient device to have in my arsenal. I think the price is really affordable and I like that this unit is designed to be portable. If you are a skincare and beauty lover, like myself, you'll love owning one of these! They really are a worthwhile luxury for your skincare products!
