My experience with K-Beauty products is very limited but its definitely an area I have been itching to explore however, the issue is often accessibility to the products is very limited in the United States. Bemused Korea is an online boutique that offers a range of real K-Beauty products from Korea ships to the U.S. and all over the world. They very kindly sent me this product to test and review, as always, these are my honest thoughts and opinions.
The Bonair Blue Smoother Velvet Cream retails for $ and is available at Bemused Korea. Packaged in a luxurious heavy blue glass jar, this cream was developed for dry and aging skin.
The cream, like the Bonair Blue Smoothing Oil, contains Fermented Blue Tansy Oil to soothe and provide intense moisture. The azulene contained in the Blue Tansy Oil also helps with fighting damage and signs of aging. The active ingredient in this cream is Adenosine, a naturally occurring chemical in the body, that is highly effective for soothing and restoring the skin. It's anti-aging effects come from energizing the skin's surface and making it appear smoother and younger. Adenosine is the leading source of energy for cellular functions, like cell turn over and restoration, which is why it is so effective for fighting signs of aging.
This cream has a lightweight whipped kind of texture but is still quite rich and hydrating on the skin! My preferred method of using this cream is in the morning after applying the Bonair Premier Aloe Real Squeeze Toner. I find I only need a small amount and spreads like a gel-cream all over my face. It feels refreshing but also very nourishing. It really has been a huge help with the dry patches I had developed from weather changes. Like the product claims, it does absorb pretty quickly and leaves the skin very hydrated but doesn't leave a heavy reside of moisturizer on the surface of my skin. This product works very well with my makeup, maintaining moisture throughout the day but not causing my makeup to move around or breakdown.
After using this product for several weeks now, I have seen my skin become very soft and I no longer have rough patches on my skin! The gel-cream texture is something I really enjoy because it offers rich hydration but doesn't feel heavy on the skin! The Bonair range is my first experience with using blue tansy products but it has been a very positive experience. I feel these products do exactly what they claim to achieve; hydrate, plump, and smooth the skin. I couldn't be happier with this gentle natural moisturizer. I am often hesitant to try new brands and products because my skin becomes very reactive and dry if I use the wrong products on it. These products have a luxurious formula and texture. Your skin will feel nourished and very hydrated! I recommend trying out this brand, they really know how to create a luxurious skin treatment experience!
