I am have been a long-time advocate of natural beauty and clean ingredients. I think with world we currently live in, it is important to cautious about the ingredients that not only go in our bodies, but on our bodies. Shampoo is something most people use daily to several times a week and it is applied in an area that can easily absorb the product being placed on top. This is why I like to use natural or organic products when I can. This shampoo was very kindly sent to me by Maple Holistics. 

 The Maple Holistics Argan Shampoo retails for $9.99 USD for 8oz. and is available at Maple Holistics. As many of you already know, I am a huge fan of argan oil. While there are many shampoos that have argan oil in them, they also tend to have a very nominal amount in them, along with lots of chemicals. Maple Holistics keeps their products clean with only high quality natural ingredients. Their ingredients list is much cleaner than typical shampoos on the market.

The shampoo is a gel consistency and has a very nice lather to it. The shampoo instantly hydrated the hair, you can feel it in it's creamy texture. Though it is very hydrating, it also doesn't leave any greasy or oily residue in the hair after it has been rinsed out.  My hair has been quite "crispy" lately because I am in desperate need of a trim, I heat style, and my hair is color-treated. So tangling has been a real issue lately because my hair is feeling a bit dry and rough. After using this shampoo, it really helped smooth out my hair, add some healthy shine, and nourish it by providing some much needed oil back into my strands. This shampoo is so nourishing, I don't feel the need to use a conditioner, unless my hair feels extra dry. The scent is very clean and lingers a bit in my hair. After first use, my hair looks so shiny and renewed! It brushed through beautifully my ends were not nearly as "crispy" as before. 

This shampoo also works very well on color-treated hair. I am often very hesitant to use shampoos  that are not intended for maintaining color but in this shampoo does not cause my hair to bleed anymore than it normally would! This is probably because it doesn't contain chemicals that would normally strip the hair of all nutrients and oils. It is so gentle the color stays in my hair and looks more vibrant because of the shine it adds to my hair. I have also noticed this shampoo helps my hair produce some more natural oils to protect and hydrate itself. 

I have tried a variety of natural shampoos and this one is at the top of the list! The ingredients are clean and the product is so effective. I highly recommend this shampoo for anyone with dehydrated hair and those looking for a natural alternative to traditional chemical packed shampoos. You hair will feel silky, smooth, and look shiny. Take it from someone who needs a lot of nourishment in their hair, this product will treat and cleanse your hair but also totally renew it! The price is very reasonable and affordable, so you really can't go wrong!
