Last year was a difficult year for me but starting my blog and chatting with all my lovely friends on Instagram really pulled me through it all.  So I just wanted to start out by thanking you for your support! I honestly can't believe its the end of the year already! 2016 has been the craziest and
by far, the hardest year for me but having this blog and my Instagram has kept me going and gave me a bit on consistency in this crazy year. It is also my first year of having a blog! I hope I didn't disappoint too much but I promise to try to post more often on here. I appreciate everyone who reads, comments, and follows me on Insta! It really means a lot, you have no idea. Your support and sweet comments have gotten me through this rough year.

Anyways, here are some of my favorite skincare products from 2016. Most of these are products were new to me in 2016 but have really impressed me. These products saved my dry skin and put life back into it. Skincare is a very special ritual in a beauty addicts life and I wanted to share some products that made my routine very special. 

1. Sunday Riley Tidal brightening Enzyme Water Cream is amazingly light yet so incredibly hydrating! It literally feels like water going on the skin. It feels cool and soothing. This gel textured moisturizer is packed full of hyaluronic acid to help infuse and retain tons of moisture in the skin. Your skin will be glowing, hydrated, and soft after using this. It works so well day or night because of  its light-weight and oil-free texture. I've scraped my container down to the bottom and I plan on repurchasing this for years to come.

2. Tom Ford Radiant Moisture Souffle (full review here) is an illuminating moisturizing cream. It is very hydrating and plumping, The formula is as luxurious as the price. The illuminating pearl is very fine and create a very healthy glowing skin look. Its beautiful for priming before makeup application because it provided moisture but isn't too oily or slippery.

3. Stemology Cell Renew Hydro-Plus Overnight Moisturizer (full review here) is an intensely moisturizing cream, made with all natural ingredients. Stemology is a line I had never heard about until this year but has really impressed me with their skincare line. Overnight, my skin is completely refreshed when using this product. I awake with glowing, hydrated, plump, and smooth skin! Although I was sent this product compliments of Stemology, I will definitely repurchase this product!

4. Stemology Cell Reboot Ageless Mask (full review here) is a exfoliating enzyme mask. Again, another product that really impressed me from the Stemology line. The mask is very effective in refreshing the skin by removing old skin cells and resurfacing the texture of the skin. My skin is very soft and renewed after one use of this potent mask.

5. Derma-E Skin, Hair, and Nail Oil (full review here) is an amazingly hydrating multi-purpose oil.  I am a HUGE fan of face oils Especially with winter here and coming on strong, my dry skin has taken some abuse. I  love how effective this product is at hydrating my skin and how affordable it is. I like to use it at night all over my face and use the excess for my cuticles. The oil is a bit too heavy for the hair, so I prefer not to use it for my hair.

6. Derma-E Hydrating Serum (full review here) is a lovely light and hydrating serum. I can see this working for all skin types. It is most effective with a heavy moisturizer or face oil because the hyaluronic acid helps retain moisture.

These products are the most memorable and effective products of the year. I was lucky enough to be sent some new products from brands that I had never tried before and I absolutely loved their products! As much as I love experimenting with new products, these products have become real staples for me in my skincare routine.
