In my never-ending search for glowing complexion products, I scooped up this latest launch from the Glow King, Patrick Ta. Patrick Ta's beauty style really resonates with me because I just want to be dripping in glow and that's essentially his entire range. I think if you feel the same way, you're going to want to keep reading to learn about this latest launch and get prepared to get drenched in glow.

The Patrick Ta Major Glow Dewy Milk Mist retails for $38.00 USD for 1.6 oz/50ml and is available at Sephora. This dewy mist is housed in a beautiful sheer frosted nude-pink glass bottle with rose gold accents. There's no denying the beauty of this sleek and luxurious bottle. It is not only beautiful but very functional. The spray nozzle offers the finest mist! The packaging is just excellent. The only issue is that it isn't exactly travel-friendly. 

FORMULA 

The moment I knew this product did its job and that it was perfect for me was when my boyfriend asked me, "Why do you look so shiny"? I then asked him if it was a bad thing or a good thing and he responded "You look reflective...You look beautiful". If that doesn't translate to "You're my beautiful glazed doughnut." I don't know what else does! 

Seriously though, Patrick Ta wasn't joking when he called this mist "Major Glow" because it does indeed, give you a MAJOR GLOW. Now, of course, this mist amplifies whatever is underneath and I usually wear a very glowy and dewy foundation, paired with a highlighter, and the whole glow kit, so naturally, I come off as very reflective. 

This setting spray has an extremely fine mist. When you spritz it all over, you can barely tell that there is anything falling on you. This is perfect for a setting spray because there's nothing worse than your setting spray leaving droplets all over your face and ruining your hard work. However, because it is such a fine mist, you do have to spray quite a bit to get an even and glossy coating in your skin. Now, I like the glossy look, so I'm a bit more generous with the spritzing but you can really control the amount you mist onto the skin. 

The finish this setting spray will give you is best described as glossy (or reflective, if you're my boyfriend). What's beautiful about this setting spray is that it doesn't contain any shimmer reflects but it still manages to give you an incredible glow. This is great for those with large pores or texture on the skin. It just gives your skin this glossy veil that makes your complexion look very fresh and healthy.

Like I stated previously when applied over an already dewy complexion, this mist amplifies that effect and creates a very glossy finish to the skin. Over a more matte or powdered complexion, it helps fuse the powder to the skin and makes your complexion look fresh and natural. The more you mist on, the more glow you'll get but you don't need to drench your skin to get a glow. I do think you need to mist on a decent amount of the mist to get the glowing impact from this product otherwise, you may as well use any other setting spray because it won't give your complexion much of a glow. 

Usually, setting sprays that offer a glow or dewy finish don't actually set your foundation but this one definitely has some setting and sealing properties! I sprayed this over a liquid foundation and concealer that I did not set, my makeup stayed all day long! I wore my makeup for about 8 hours and depending on the base, it will breakdown or at least fade but my makeup looked surprisingly flawless! I am very impressed with its ability to extend the wear of my makeup and still provide me with a glossy finish! Now, while it extends the look of your complexion, it doesn't control or prevent the oil of your skin from peeking through.

This mist does have a detectable fragrance that reminds me of Tom Ford Neroli Portofino, it's kind of a fresh and slightly floral fragrance. I've heard some people complain about the fragrance being too heavy but I actually quite enjoy the fragrance and I find that it's fleeting, so it won't be bothering you throughout the day. 

FINAL THOUGHTS 

This setting spray has really surpassed my expectations! I thought this was going to be just another setting spray. You know, the kind that sets your makeup a little and tames powdery textures but it does all of that but to the highest standard! I love a glossy and glowing complexion but that often means my makeup doesn't last, this mist makes it last all day! The only thing I wish is that this mist came with more product. The volume you get is on the smaller side for the price but I really do enjoy the effect this mist gives my complexion. If you really love glossy skin, I recommend checking out this luxurious and beautiful formula! I don't think you'll be disappointed.
