Bali Body has been developing this range for quite some time and when I heard whisperings of this range being ready for launch, I was so excited! I have been working with the brand for years because I love their products and the branching out to a skincare range is no surprise to me. I have been hoping for this for such a long time. So, when Bali Body reached out about reviewing the entire Bali Body Skin range, I couldn't be happier. This post is sponsored by Bali Body and the products were gifted to me but as you know, I believe in always being honest and everything that is written here are my own thoughts. 

BBSkin is a sub-brand of Bali Body and they are dedicated to creating active skincare line that offers high quality formulas at an affordable price point. This is an incredible mission statement from a skincare brand. We often find potent and powerful skincare with active ingredients cost an arm and a leg these days. I love that the brand is utilizing powerful ingredients and science-backed formulas while maintaining an affordable price to their customers. As of launch, in fall of 2022, the brand has a very well-rounded range of core skincare products. I will be reviewing most of the range; however; I expect the brand will expand their range at some point. These core products that are available in the initial launch provide a complete and strong skincare routine for any skin type! 

VITAMIN D SERUM

The BBSkin Vitamin D Serum retails for $55.00 USD and is available at Bali Body. Housed in a beautiful rich burgundy plastic bottle with a pump, the packaging looks very luxurious and sophisticated. This is packaging is not only functional but aesthetically appealing. 

Formula 

This serum is a bit of a thicker and more viscous gel-like texture that melts into the skin and feels like a hydrating and cushiony veil. It feels instantly hydrating and soothing on my skin, which feels especially amazing in the colder weather months because my skin is feeling so dry that most skincare stings my skin. The serum feels both hydrating and moisturizing. What I mean by this is that it provides both water retention for the skin but also a hydrating barrier on the surface of the skin. It absorbs quickly and well into the skin. It doesn't leave the skin feeling greasy, oily, or sticky.

Niacinamide - Also known as, Vitamin B3, this ingredient is known to minimize the appearance of pores, improve uneven skin tone, soften fine lines and wrinkles, diminish dullness, and strengthen the skin. This is a real powerhouse ingredient that I often rely on my routine to improve and maintain my skin. 

Ganoderma Lucidum Extract - Also known as Reishi Mushroom, which is rich in Vitamin D and promotes skin healing and cell regeneration.

Kakadu Plum - Provides Vitamin C to mitigate fine lines and wrinkles with Niacinamide (Vitamin B3) contributing to a clear, vibrant complexion.

Chondrus Crispus Extract - Also known as red algae, which is rich of fatty acids that provide natural hydration to protect, soften and smooth the skin.

Results 

After an evening of using this serum, I noticed a difference in the firmness and elasticity of my skin in the morning. My skin felt much firmer and had a noticeable bounce to it that I didn't feel like it had the previous day. There are many regenerative ingredients in this formula that not only help treat signs of aging but in some ways, help repair the skin. The niacinamide makes a huge difference in my skin, making my skin feel smoother, look more refined, and look plumper. I love the feeling of my skin in the morning after using this serum. It just feels so much healthier and elastic. Plus, my skin is just glowing in the morning. This serum really seems to do it all from hydrating and moisturizing to brightening and smoothing the texture of the skin! I was immediately impressed with the formula but after prolonged use, I have seen these results continue to multiply and increase with every use. 

This serum just helps my skin maintain its hydration and moisture levels throughout the day. It plumps my skin and any fine lines that I may have. It really just helps smooth the texture and refines the texture of the skin, making everything appear more perfected and youthful. This is the type of serum that makes your skin look juicy, plump, and fresh, which really just translates to the look of youthful skin. I notice a huge difference in my skin when I have been using this serum and when I have not. It really does affect the health of my skin so dramatically. I have had some rough days or times where I have not been eating well and typically my skin will breakout or have some kind of issue but even when I have been bad, this serum is so good, that it prevents my skin from freaking out. If anything it has improved my skin during these times when I have not been caring for my skin and body as I should and I'm so thankful for that. I have always been a big proponent of niacinamide serums and this one is by far one of the best I have ever tried! 

BRIGHTENING EYE SERUM 

The BBskin Brightening Eye Serum retails for $40.00 USD and is available at Bali Body. Housed in a beautiful rich burgundy plastic bottle with a pump, the packaging looks very luxurious and sophisticated. This is packaging is not only functional but aesthetically appealing. 

Formula 

This eye serum has a very lightweight viscous gel texture that melts into the skin like water! It really feels instantly refreshing and hydrating! It feels lightly cool on the skin and it just refreshes the under eye area. It hydrates and moisturizes without feeling greasy, heavy, or oily. It absorbs very quickly into the skin and you can apply makeup on pretty much immediately after. It is a totally clear serum that doesn't leave any residue on your skin and when you do apply makeup on top, it sits very well and doesn't move the makeup around. It feels very cushiony when you apply this gel across your eyes, which is a very appealing texture. It seems to just glide along the thin skin and provide a protective barrier and it feel like it fills in any line under the eyes. It just smooths out the texture of the skin so well and provides a very fresh hydration that is very different from your typical eye cream.

Cucumber Extract - Hydrates and soothes the skin. Its refreshing properties can reduce puffiness and relieve itching, as well as help to ease redness.

Results 

This eye serum feels instantly hydrating and cooling on the skin. It really feels like a splash of cold water to the under eye area, even though I have not been refrigerating my eye serum. However, refrigerating your eye serum is not a bad idea, especially if you get super puffy in the mornings like I do. It feels really refreshing and rejuvenating, especially in the mornings. The cucumber extract really helps cools, soothes, and depuffs the skin. 

It doesn’t take much product to get results, I use the smallest drop for each eye, about a pin-sized amount. Other than the instant depuffing and cooling, this eye serum really helps brighten, smooth, and plump out the eye area. It really helps give your eyes that fresh, wide-awake look even if you are feeling less than awake. Of course, you don’t have to only use it in the morning. I use this serum day and night. It has, over time, significantly improved the appearance and texture of the skin under my eyes. It makes it feel and look much firmer and more supple than before. 

I have tried many eye serums and they happen to be my favorite form of treatment for the under eye area because they are very lightweight but they are potent. This one is definitely one of the best I have tried! A little goes such a long way with this one and not only do you see an immediate difference but it has improved the condition of my under eyes over time. My under eyes look brighter and fresher within minutes despite my lack of sleep or if I've just been eating poorly. I feel like those are big factors in the condition of my skin and especially, my under eyes but this eye serum is like a magic eraser! I use in the morning and evenings to just keep my under eyes fresh, firm, and bright! 

HYDRATING SKIN SHIELD 

The BBSkin Hydrating Skin Shield retails for $55.00 USD and is available at Bali Body. Housed in a beautiful rich burgundy plastic bottle with a pump, the packaging looks very luxurious and sophisticated. This is packaging is not only functional but aesthetically appealing. 

Formula 

This product has actually been my savior during these super cold and dry fall and winter months! This product is essentially a very rich moisturizer that creates a protective barrier I’ve ethereal skin. During the colder months of the year, my skin often becomes so dry and sensitive that applying anything on it will cause it to feel a stinging or burning sensation. This is because my skin’s natural barrier is damaged from the harsh environmental conditions. You really only need about about two pumps or so because this product really does go a long way. 

This thick, balmy, and rich cream not only protects provided a ton of nourishment and treatment to my skin but it protects it and prevents it from loosing moisture. While the product is quite thick and on the heavier side, I have found that I have no issues wearing it during the day under my makeup. It doesn’t cause my makeup to wear for less time of fade faster but this may be because my skin so desperately needs something heavier and more emollient like this formula. 

This product does create a thicker and heavier veil of emollient and slick moisture on the skin. You will definitely feel this product on the skin but I don’t find that to be a bad thing. If you don’t need a heavy-duty moisturizer for the daytime, just use this at night. I promise, it will significantly help your skin! While this formula is emollient and just a touch heavier than a typical moisturizer, it feels instantly soothing on my dry and sensitive skin. It also doesn’t cause my skin to feel sensitive or sting. Also, while you may think that it would be too rich and emollient to wear under makeup, I have tried it and it's not! Especially in the winter time, I find that this product makes a really nice super hydrating base under makeup that gives your skin a glow! A lot like the feeling and effect that you get from using an oil under makeup, it creates this very smooth layer that has some slip to it. It also contains added sun protection from UVA, UVB, and blue light. So, it really is designed for day time use but I will use it night and day!

Provitamin B5 - Deeply hydrates and nourishes with anti-inflammatory protection. Panthenol provides essential moisture to the skin, assisting in reducing dryness and enhancing the appearance of the skin’s overall suppleness.

Zinc Oxide - An essential mineral that can help maintain skin health. When applied topically, zinc oxide forms a barrier on top of our skin. This protective barrier shields skin from the elements such as UV rays, and locks in hydration and moisture.

Niacinamide - Also known as, Vitamin B3, this ingredient is known to minimize the appearance of pores, improve uneven skin tone, soften fine lines and wrinkles, diminish dullness, and strengthen the skin. This is a real powerhouse ingredient that I often rely on my routine to improve and maintain my skin. 

Shea Butter - This ingredient is known for being a very vitamin-rich skin conditioner. It is known for its ability to make the skin incredibly soft and supple, which is a very noticeable feeling when using this product.

Results 

While the product is a bit richer and more emollient than your typical moisturizer, what I love about this product is that it doesn't clog the pores, which is something I am very prone to. I love a really hydrating and rich moisturizer but I have issues in the past with formulas that are too heavy and occlusive on the skin. This one still feels and acts very light on the skin despite, the rich and nourishing formula. This is really a product that is unlike anything I have tried in the vast skincare market and it is by far my top picks from this new skincare range. I feel like it has made such a noticeable and immediate improvement in my skin that I can't imagine being without in my routine now! 

PRO-COLLAGEN CREAM

The BBSkin Pro-Collagen Cream retails for $55.00 USD and is available at Bali Body. Housed in a beautiful rich burgundy plastic bottle with a pump, the packaging looks very luxurious and sophisticated. This is packaging is not only functional but aesthetically appealing. 

Formula 

The ultra-lightweight face cream feels like a gel-cream hybrid. It melts into the skin like water and feels like I have practically nothing on my skin but it just provides a refreshing boost of hydration and moisture on the skin. This is a dream texture for any skin type because it is so light but it still provides a ton of hydration without adding too much to the skin. It doesn't change the skin's texture but really just adds that boost of hydration it needs to be healthy, happy, and normal. This is a potent light cream that I have used day or night to treat my skin. 

It works incredibly well under makeup and provides a nice base for foundation that doesn't manipulate the texture of your foundation or affect the finish of the foundation. It is a very refreshing texture that feels soothing and a bit cooling on the skin. This is a formula that won't clog pores and is a universal winner as far as formula and texture goes.

Results 

While it feels like you don't have anything on your skin, this product is a potent anti-aging powerhouse! You can really see the results after you wear it a few times. You just notice your skin feeling a lot firmer and more elastic, which is a feeling that just excites me! Not many creams will you feel that noticeable difference in your skin when you wear it but I find it doesn't take much time to see the anti-aging improvements in your skin. 

I notice my fine lines plumping out and my skin looking smoother. There's significant and noticeable change in the elasticity of my skin, which really is my favorite part of any anti-aging formula but this one worked so quickly. It didn't take months to see that really healthy and youthful bounce to my skin! What I really love about this formula is it's versatility and it's ability to work with all skin types. I often find I am reluctant to rave about products because they really only work best for my skin type but I genuinely feel like this is a universal cream! Anyone and everyone can benefit from using this cream and you will see amazing results!  

VITAMIN HYDRATION MASK 

The Vitamin Hydration Mask retails for $45.00 USD and is available at Bali Body. The product is housed in a beautiful and sophisticated rich burgundy plastic jar. The jar is large and has a nice heft to it that makes it feel luxurious. 

Formula 

This mask has a light gel texture that creates a wet and thin veil over the skin. This is my kind of mask because I love a formula that doesn't have to be rinsed off but can be worn all day or all night! This mask gives an instant boost of hydration to the skin, like a big drink of water but it also, provides a nice moisturizing veil to retain moisture and protect the skin. It feels instantly refreshing, cooling, and hydrating. It does get a little tacky and a bit sticky on the skin, which some people may not like for an overnight mask. It doesn't bother me at all and I really like the experience of using this product overnight. I find the longer I wear it, the more I get out of it. 

I apply this mask with the Face Mask applicator, which retails for $15.00 USD on Bali Body. I find this tool well worth the price because I use it for all my masks! Not just this one. The paddle shape and the smooth silicone texture allows you to really evenly and easily smooth the mask across the skin. It's also very easy to clean, which I appreciate and it means you are keeping your product really clean too. 

I lather on a thin layer of this mask across the skin. I really find you don't need much and it just starts to hydrate and plump the skin. I love using this mask regularly to just give my skin the extra boost of hydration and nourishment. This is a fool-proof mask that just uplifts your mood when you see how much it improves your skin. It's the perfect daily treat for your skin that doesn't cost much and isn't a whole lot of effort.

Tocopherol - Also known as Vitamin E, Tocopherol is naturally present in the skin but depleted with age and sun exposure. As an antioxidant, it can fight free radicals and offer substantial anti-inflammatory support to keep skin hydrated and soothed.

Results 

This mask was a real savior for me during the cold winter season when my skin feels particularly sensitive, dry, and reactive. It kept my skin really calm and stable, which I was really have a hard time maintaining. The nourishing formula really makes my skin feel incredible after ever use and it just seems to continue to condition and nourish the skin even after you remove it! This is my favorite hydrating mask I have tried and I know I’ll be using it for years. 

FINAL THOUGHTS 

This whole routine really saved my skin when it was going through some roughy times because of my lack of sleep and poor nutrition. I was have some issues go a bit but when I started using this routine, my breakouts went a away and healed, my skin started feeling so much smoother and softer, and it started to regain its natural healthy glow! I’m so impressed by how it so quickly transformed my skin! The affordable price amazes me because the formulas are so exceptional, you’d expect them to significantly more. I have used some very pricey skincare and this range definitely completes with some of the best around! While I was gifted these products, I would happily repurchase them in the future! I love the way these products make my skin feel and look! 

While I have a massive collection of skincare at home, I find myself continuing to reach for these products over many of the much more expensive products I own and it’s because they just work! When it comes down to skincare, it shouldn’t be about how much or how little you pay but about if the products work for you and these really do. I have seen continuous improvement in my skin as I continue to use these products. They have really repaired, recovered, and renewed my skin on its worst days and that’s why I adore the range. I really can’t recommend these products enough for all skin types! Instead of supporting another celebrity-owned skincare brand, I urge you to give these products a chance because I know you will fall in love with them like I have!
